I think this post pretty much sums up how boring and irrelevant the arena has become.

Four days in and nobody has bothered posting in this thread =\

I have 110 friends participating for the epic boss and only 98 friends doing the arena event. That's 12 friends that didn't even bother with arena eventhough they are still active.

Arena needs a revamp.

I have about 80 friends and only 6 are doing the arena, it's pretty pointless

109 friends and 69 participating, arena kinda... Lacks something indeed, the good prizes goes until bronze tier.. Ribbon tier is kinda boring prizes, personally i do arena because of gems, and i just stay on ribbon 3 because its almost the same rewards of ribbon 2, and i could never reach ribbon 1 because id need to keep fighting all the day long, and also, i hate fighting friends, i think it should be removed, it makes no sense as it is an unfair system that have nothing to do with the arena, the time it takes to beat 100 people everyday is just so tedious that i dont even bother..... Arena really needs something new...

I think you shouldn't be able to buy arena energy or get points from battling friends. It's quite unfair for players who don't spend money on the game and makes it a lot harder to actually get a good reward from it. If you couldn't buy the arena energy then I think people would be more likely to play in it.

No that's not gonna fix the problem.

Edit: no to the 'no buying energy' part.

I think battling friends is great, I strive to reach their levels of achievement and it feels great if you ever win against them

Nothing against battling friends, though I think it should not give tournament points.. Maybe gold (some more, because current amount is just offending...) and some exp maybe.

I tend to disagree. I think battling friends is fine as it currently is. As it is at 6 arena points per friend battle won many people tend to skip it as it is pretty tedious and it takes a while to load before and after a fight. The gold is pathetic yes, but for gold we already have TF's that give out quite a bit per day. If you remove points from battling friends then the only way to get points is through the 5 energy per 75 mins method. I think this puts free players at a further disadvantage and will make them lose further interest in the arena. I know i would.

I go through most of my friends list and this gives me an average of 300 points per cycle and it takes about an hour or so to complete this. Little reward for a lot of work if you ask me but it feels balanced as it currently is.

Maybe someone can answer me this question. Why is it that sometimes I get smacked so hard into next week by people with lessor armor. Then on the flip side I destroy people who I don't think I can beat. I am guessing it has something to do with the level?

It depends on what you describe as lesser armor, or people you don't think you can beat.

Are your armors maxed out?

Level is 1 factor but does not play as big a part as armor. Your opponent may be decked out in 4* armors for all his knights but if they are lowly enhanced and non + versions, the big 4 can still smack the daylights out of them. I notice a lot of lower leveled players make the mistake of crafting the boss armors but get stuck leveling them because of the high gold cost and amount of materials and time it takes to enhance these.

Those 'weaker' armor might just be setup in a way that it totally counters your armor. Works the same way the other way around.

I would have to see pictures of the different armors to point them out. No, I am working on the big 4, and two of them just hit 15, so now I can craft the + version of it. Just need to make some gold. When I leave work, I will take some screen shots and see what you all think.

If your armors are only level 15, then you'll get wrecked by anyone with 1 maxed Big 4 armor. That's probably why you're losing.
