many if not all level 250 players can only see rivals at level 179-190 and we are only able to rob them.

how are we supposed to participate in this event if we are limited to rob lower levels who usually moan alot about getting hit by high level players.
i mean they have a reason, players 70 levels above should not be able to see them in their rival list.

but not being able to attack anyone for over a week now doesnt make me feel exited about the new event.

support told me it needs an update to fix the problem, oh well... blnt

All lvl 180 on my rivals list. When I try to attack get the "too beat up to fight' message.

For the brief amount of of time coins were dropping, our syndicate reported wide discrepancies in the amounts won. Can you give us some info on how the numbers are calculated?

We are aware that there are some issues with high level players seeing lower level players and not being able to attack them. We are working to get that fixed, but I don't have a specific time frame.

If you click on the trophy icon you can find yourself and your syndicate on the list if you scroll through. When you find your syndicate, click on it to open up a page that shows how many points each player scored as well as the syndicate overall.

Fix the attack / defense stats when players acquire new equipment they need to updated immediately and reflect to opposing attackers, please fix this issue!

Has anyone figured out how the point payouts are determined? I thought it was just more points for opponents with higher stats but, other people aren't seeing the same results. I'm getting 200-250 points to hit someone with 100k def and other people in my group are only getting 80-100. Any clue what's going on here?

i am in round 5 of the event, and am getting 87 points while guys in my syn where getting 150+ out the gate. this is across a range of levels.

i have noticed a range of points myself depending on how close the rivals def to my attack is, but that doesnt explain the inter-player discrepancies.

id be interested to know why - assume its just a bug?

Yes. You get a lot of points if you attack someone with a higher defense than your attack, even though you're likely to lose half the battles. One guy had ~30k less defense than my attack (enough for me to lose 4-5 times out of 10), and he was dropping 383 points, while everyone else was dropping a max of 150. I don't know if that still applies at lower atk/def stats, but I presume so.

Pretty sure like 99% of people are blind attacking anyway based on the steady stream of green on my newsfeed. I don't have time to be checking stats on everyone, especially when most of the RL is too beat up anyway, and despite my constant tapping I'm still nowhere near the top 100 of the leaderboard.

I started off hitting 181 every time then it went lower, back up then lower.. its fluctuating between 110 and 190 and is has done that passed 300 attacks. I have gotten max 410 when robbing someone 50-60k over my level (failing every other though so result was avarage 205). when hitting level 210 with 30k defense I get around 70, thats the lowest

I'm fairly certain your progress in the Street Brawl goals is connected to how many points you get. Seems to increase each time you get to a new level. The other factor is your enemies stats-- when my 6 digit attack hits someone with a 5 digit attack, I get less than 100 points (though I can tell that between similar stat players, it's increased over time). The most points I've received was something like 490 from someone whose defense was 30k below my attack (this sort of attack is almost a coinflip for me). I haven't found too many people with stats close to mine, they're either way below mine or way above mine (FC/Indians/etc). The goal seems to be encouraging similar stat players to attack each other-- e.g. if you have a chance at losing = big points.

For what it's worth I've been getting just 20 coins since a few hours after the event started.

It doesn't matter whether the opponent's defence is 1/3 of my attack or is 10k more (I'm over 100k). Level doesn't affect it - 50 below or 10 above - no difference (I'm ~220). Fighting or robbing - the same. I've advanced through the brawl event without changes (now round 6).

Maybe it's something to do with the highest winning streak? Or maybe the game's bugged (surely not)? Either way I'm relying on my syndicate to get anything from the event!

-1 for gree! I too spent quite a bit on that event just to find out that others are getting it for free. And then when I do the same I get no additional modifier. THIS SHOULD BE CHANGED! I know it could be added in and it should. THIS HURTS THE PLAYERS YOU WANT THE MOST: THE GOLD BUYERS! What a terrible business move.

I didnt feel bad spending on the midas machine gun bc at least that stacked up as well.

I'm in the same boat as you. Been playing for almost 2 years. This is the worst (and there has been some pearlers) cock up Ive seen so far.

I have informed support about this issue till I'm blue in the face over the last 2 weeks. They knew about it. They clearly dont care.

Meantime players like me and you, who have been filling the gree coffers for almost 2 years are excluded from events because our games are broke.

Emails remain unanswered, you keep on making the new rewards bigger and better so the long term players rewards from the past mean nothing, Forum staff dont reply to simple requests, you change the gold bonus, many dont receive their gold, you ignore major glitches.
I suspect this game has little life in it because frankly you have managed to sqeeze the last bit out of it.

I have always congratulated you on past efforts even though there have been some less than desirable outcomes, mainly in customer service and support BUT... you mean to tell me that there is NO WAY you could fix a broken rival list in 2 WEEKS!!! Yet, it still continues broken. Yet, you keep rolling out new content, one of which is a pvp tournament. It should never happen that some of your customer base knows more about the technical aspect of a product than the company that owns the product. Perhaps, you ought to consider hiring some of the players for the enginnering room. Just a thought!

If you have 2 of the same item (like the Executive Coupe) it won't stack with itself. If you have more than one item with the same bonus, it works like this:

The bonus is multiplicative rather than additive, that's why the combined amount is lower. There are diminishing returns on bonuses that "subtract" something because you can't ever actually hit 0 building upgrade cost or time, or get negative building time (although you can get close).

Here's an example:

If the original building upgrade cost is 100%, -30% means upgrade cost is now 70%. If you subtract another 30% of the 70% you get 49%.
Now if you subtract another 20% of the 49% you get 39.2%. Their upgrading cost should now be at 60.8%, and we round that to 61%

it was an obvious mistake,
they didn't want to give an item with modifier, they were just looking in their data to find an item in a specific range of stats and they found the coupe. They didn't check if it carries a modifier and that's it.
The problem is they did a mistake and they do nothing to correct it. They should change the code or change the item or do whatever is necesairy in order the item to work for all players no matter if you already have one in your inventory or not

What is 61% + 39%? A&F is saying exactly what you just said, only worded it wrong in the last sentence. He said its now a discount of 61% in total, which is 39% of the original cost.... assuming you had all the modifiers he mentioned.

A lot simpler to realize "30% off" means "70%", so you can take any of your upgrade costs and multiply it by 0.7.

And when you have multiple bonuses like that, e.g. 30% off twice, that's (upgrade cost) * 0.7 * 0.7 = (upgrade cost) * 0.49.

49% of the original cost, i.e. "51% off."
