"What's New in Version 1.9

Introducing Limited Time Guild Quests! Now you can participate in quests that contribute to your guild's overall requirements.

Your monster kills can contribute to the overall guild quests!
Work with your guild members to complete item collections quests.
Build a guild empire! Some quests may require new buildings to be constructed.

Collect guild points to compete within your guild and see who contributes the most to the completion of the Guild Quests.

Guild points are not used to purchase items and are for the sole purpose of in-guild rankings.
Warning: You will lose your guild points if you leave your guild and will not be able to retain them if you rejoin the guild.

Orbs (Guild Contributions)

You can now collect orbs that you contribute to your guild for battles with Raid Bosses in the future. These are bosses that require you to work with your guild to defeat them.
Each orb set will be used to a specific Raid Boss and cannot be used for other future Raid Bosses.


UI design note: The Guild "Donations" button has moved to the Rankings Tab."

How are the Orbs collected? Mobs, raids, LTQ's? Like the idea, forces people to play the game more instead of camping to slowly build stats.

Just kill stuff. There is no pop up or quest. They just sometimes drop like boxes for box events, but with a far lower drop rate.

They're pretty elusive. I got mine from beating up bad guys in The Barrens to make some gold for the EB.

By the sounds of it, it may be much like a box event. Every monster will have a chance to drop Orbs, the more Orbs you get, the higher rank you will become. So if you have a problem killing Mobs to earn Orbs... Then this event might not be for you. But of course these are only guesses. No one is certain exactly how these events will pan out.

I was told that I shouldn't have both versions running at the same time due to conflicts and I'll have problems.

Given this information, before I sell my guild on getting this new version 1.9, someone tell me if this new version is the new 'MASTER' game and the current or 'old' app I've been playing for so many months is now obsolete and should be deleted or are we expected to keep updating both apps and bouncing back and forth.

Any information would be greatly appreciated!

I'm very confused as to what you call rubbish. All I see on this thread are a few theories on how these events are going to play out, as well as a few members that have already gotten a few Orbs within just a few hours of downloading the game. When I first heard of this version, I downloaded and went to the guild section. I went to the crossroads I believe for the 1/25 event. I cleared the 60/60 monsters and collected some, 8-10 orbs and once completed, I was given a unit, maybe 60/60, don't recall now, however, as I'm told, those 'units' are given to all the guild members that have this version. Just like any other LTQ event where a unit is given at level completion, this as I understand, gives the unit to the entire guild. Makes sense, since the entire guild would be working towards a common goal, they should all receive the reward.

I still need to know whether or not this is the NEW version of the game and should I then delete the 'original'? I am not crazy about having two versions on my phone and moving between them both and then worrying whether the one is still open or not before opening the other.

Can someone address this? Anyone?

My assumption (<<<keyword) is that they will allow a one time entry into a raid boss screen that is shared by your guild. A smart way to implement that would be to limit a once per day entry per guild member to prevent all the orbs going to the GG. Or maybe they place it under the Founder's control to use a set number of orbs (increasing with each boss) in order to "spawn" the boss and every one in the guild has a set time (2 hours, say) to attack and bring down the boss. Whether or not each guild member receives xp or the timer functions the same way would be good questions. Again, this is just an assumption. I'm assuming there would be no level bracketing, meaning that this would be a boss event that actually favors HLPs. Which is an event style which is sorely needed. I'm also assuming they would then just port over the 9/9 unit prize and the 50 boss prize, and the time between boss events would then be used to collect as many orbs as possible. This would also favor HLPs, who have more energy and less concerns about xp gains, since they only seem to drop (rarely) from Pve. An actual event that wholly completely favors leveling. Whodathunkit. (Assumptions: everything, you were warned).

Edit: I'm also assuming any unused orbs would then expire at the end of the boss cycle, restarting it.

First of all I noticed that after your guild completes a level in the War Effort guild quest, you must exit the game, then come back in to get the next level to come up.

Does anyone know how many levels there are? My guild is almost done with level 9.

Nope, no error. Just random loot that you collect. It seems to go with the theme of the part of the quest you are on, though, if you read the little descriptions. Otherwise, just more stuff you are carrying.

Typically nothing. They are the items that are part of "Collect x # of loot item" to move along found in various Quests.

i think the guild quest is the limited time quest before the war starts.......my only clue is the orbs you are collecting say limited time above it in yellow.....think they go together.....i really dont know....WE are all guessing.

Hey everyone!
I have donated 15 orbs and now have 3 in inventory. The first 15 came from what must have been an early version. They were popping up every 2-3 monsters. They've slowed now.

I've read somewhere, that these orbs are for a 'Guild Boss Event' and the orbs are temporary and for ONLY that event; once that event ends, the orbs are gone. (Rumor, nothing more)

Since they (orbs) appear to be 'un-raidable', I've asked my guild to hold onto them until we know more about them. I don't want them to donate 'X' amount, just to have the counter reset before some event and loss them all. We can easily donate when we know more.

Previous LTQ: Liked it, only, since there were 50 levels, and no heroic, couldn't the stone count after 25 have risen to at least 3 or 5? I understand the following unit was worthy, however, to only get a single stone was a bit of a downer.

All units that your kingdom wins, from whatever war or guild, remains with that kingdom and goes with it.

First, the reason for the snarkiness of this post: you've hijacked this thread, posting off topic and confusing other members who are trying to read about the topic or post about it.

Second, things you should have done. 1) searched the forum for the answer first! There are thousands of threads, and this one has been answered in at least 50 of them: you don't have enough posts to start a thread. Second, if your search has failed to come up with the answer, don't just hijack someone else's thread!!! Find a senior member of the forum (ahem, posts to the left #) and send them a private message! Only after these two methods have failed should you start a new thread, and only if you are absolutely certain that someone else may have the same question/concern.

This is what I get when I try to make a new thread! I am new to the gree forums but I thought it was time as my guild is very active and would like to be able to make my own guild threads to post. If anyone can give me advice on this would be very thankful. And I read about the new update made sure all in guild have it but can't see anything about the the new guild features like joining another guild with your guild and such Thanks

1) calling Jonny a dumbass is a great way to start your life in the forum. Please, do it again. Lol.

2) there is a guild and an individual version of the spreadsheet. Look for it.

3) this thread is solely about the update, as in the new features added. So it would be a great place to ask questions about how they work. Not the rewards. That's another thread.

4) Finally, it won't let new members post a new thread until they've reached a certain number of posts. Which, given that you did spam the same question in multiple threads, you are well on your way to reaching.

5) please wise up before you name call. It just makes you look dumb.

I have seen someone here in the forums point out some issue with his game and this upgrade and noted he's from NZ. I have a NZ'er in my guild who has sent a ticket and GREE responded to why he hasn't been able to complete/access this upgrade; GREE's response was that they (GREE) are no longer offering this game in that region. ???

I, and as it would seem others, have a wounded member in my guild without the accessibility of this upgrade. He's able to gain the rewards but can't participate in guild related activities. He's a valuable and much respected member of my guild and I won't release him just because of this 'over-sight', however, this may become detrimental at some point, no?

Is this condition permanent? Would someone (Sirius or CJ54) or anyone answer this?

If permanent, why and if not, when do we expect this to be rectified?

Hey!! Now the orbs donation total in the guild UI says, 'coming soon'..
Does this mean we lost the orbs i donated? :(

I have been searching for answer but nothing is coming up....will we get our orbs back?, will we get the correct amount of orbs back? What's happening?.....no one seems to have an answer here. When the Raid Boss event false started a few weeks ago, we had the Coming Soon message. When the event was pushed back our orb total returned.

That message comes up a couple of times a day since the inception of the orbs. You get them back, not to worry.
