So I mainly use the Basic (fire, water) or Common (mystic, seafoam) Elemental armor for enhancement and fuzing... however this gets very costly in the later levels is there any bonus in leveling up these armors before using them in enhancement?
Also what about in Fusion ... if I level my intended Armors first does it increase the chance of getting a better result?
Thanks for the help

Each level an armor has when used as enhancement material only gives 1 EP per level.
From what I can tell, the level of the armor doesn't affect you chances at better armor, it only affects the armor's level, where the armor's level will be the average of both armors used to fuse. Howevevr rarity of armors do affect the outcome, where 4 star armors are likely to give you better chances compared to one star armors.
Also, you may want to put this question in the question thread instead of making a new thread :)

I think to answer your specific question, there is no extra bonus for leveling up an armor to use towards another armor. You do trade off EP for gold savings. The bonus in later levels of enhancement of your main armors is saving some gold. I just posted in the Leveling thread, page 7, my Crius+ from 1-50. I put an example of enhancing my Uncommon armor from lvl 1 to 11 using Basics.
If you have 4 uncommon and 32 basics, you have 40 + 192 = 232 EP. You could enhance your armor 9 times (4 slots x 9). If you use those basics to enhance the uncommon to lvl 11 (8 basics to each uncommon), you now have 4 uncommon worth 20 EP each (10 + lvl 11-1). You can only enhance 1 time, but you've lost 152 EP. In the lower levels of enhancing your armors, this is a lot of EP to lose. In the upper levels, the little EP enhancement increments can get costly, but they are still increments. Yes it's preferable to do big chunks of 200 EP per enhancement if possible, but it's not. It's all how you look at your EP vs gold vs time. Gold is free in the game, it's just slow to earn it.

I have stated before - why have a nice forum setup and then keep all questions in 1 thread? That thread is practically useless now. How many newbies are going to wade through 177 pages of unorganized Q&A. Use the forums to create questions as threads... but be smart about it and do a search first to make sure you question isn't already in its own thread!

You r correct deathexe I leveled a basic fire to lvl 11 then enhanced with it it gave me 16 EP as compared to Lvl 1 which gave 6... Good to know as crafting basic costs hardly anything but one enhance slot can cost a lot ... This is a good easy way to get more EP per slot on the later levels THANKS

What I meant was to ask the question in the question thread instead of making a new thread, I don't expect them to look through all the pages - there are already FAQs and guides written to help people. If everyone made a new thread whenever they had a question, you're gonna start seeing threads flood the forum considering how many forum members may consider their questions a 'special case' or just because they may not want to comb through the forum for their answers. With the question thread, the number of threads per day is lowered by quite a number.

Gunna give you some numbers to run in your head... these are assuming 1 armorsmith for time.
As many people have said, if you're looking to level your armor quicker, farming mats for Snakeskin is normally the way to go (not always as shown in certain scenarios, but most of the time). It's balso etter if your armor matches Earth/Water for the Snakeskin enhancement so you get 24 EP instead of 20 EP for non-matched.
4 Snakeskin Armor x 3,000 gold each to craft EP = 96 (24x4)
Total for 4 = 12,000 gold, 2 hours each.
Plus cost of current level enhancement
EP Lost: 0 (matched), 16 (unmatched)
Equivalent: 4 Basics Leveled to 19 (6 + 19-1 = 24 EP x 4 = 96 EP):
1 Basic as base = 300 gold, 5 minutes
16 basics to use to enhance 1 Basic = 4,800 gold, 80 minutes
4 Enhancement costs: 600, 1600, 3200, 5200 = 10,600 gold
Total for 1 = 15,700 gold, 85 minutes
Total for 4 = 62,800 gold, 340 minutes
Plus cost of current level enhancement
EP Lost: 312 (408 original EP minus the final value of 96 EP)
Equivalent: 4 Uncommon Leveled to 15 (10 + 15-1 = 24 EP x 4 = 96 EP):
1 Uncommon as base = 500 gold, 30 minutes
12 basics to use to enhance 1 Uncommon = 3,600 gold, 60 minutes
3 Enhancement costs: 600, 1600, 3200 = 5,400 gold
Total for 1 = 9,500 gold, 90 minutes
Total for 4 = 38,000 gold, 4 hours
Plus cost of current level enhancement
EP Lost: 232 (328 original EP minus final value of 96 EP)

Does GREE or Funzio have any moderators that watch the forums? Those are the ones who make good threads sticky, close threads that are going nowhere, combine threads that are alike or same topic, and help guide the fourms in general.

I don't think I've seen threads asking the same thing been combined before, nor have I seen a thread asking questions been closed either. The only time that happens is when someone is reaching forum rules or posting in the wrong forum section. That's why the question thread was created, so as to allow all questions to be asked and answered in the same place.
