Accidentally bought cash instead of gold

Did a search, couldn't find an answer. Anyone know what to do? I emailed GREE, but do I keep the cash on hand or can I deposit it? Will they reverse my transaction? Or swap it for the gold I meant to buy?

It happened to me just before the last war. If you've sent in a ticket then they will reverse the cash and credit the gold, but may not be until after the weekend - I didn't get mine back until the following Wednesday. I left my cash on hand - dont get robbed very often. I'm sure if you bank it then they should be able to take it from your bank when they fix it up.

Send in a ticket and they will fix it. This issue they usually fix rather quickly tbh.


They sometimes let you keep the cash and sometimes they take it back.

Leave it. If it gets robbed that's on Gree for being slow. ;)

When I did that I banked the money. They won't steal an extra 10% on top of the charges if that's the concern. If it gets robbed they might take an extra amount cos it'll be your fault for it going walkabout

BigRob, I did the same thing. I deposited it, because I'd be an unusually big target if I didn't. I just timed my last NC upgrade to coincide with the start of war because I was no-banking, but then I pulled that bonehead move. I'll let you know if I get a response any sooner than you do.

Depositing is ok, they took it out of my bank and gave me the gold.

I too made the mistake + appreciate your clarification. Since you are so kind with clarifications, can you give a rough estimate of how long I should expect to wait before your colleagues respond/take action?

Cos it's my £25 ($40ish) which is not an insignificant amount to me. I'm not in FIGHT CLUB so it's not an insignificant amount of cash I wouldn't care of.
