View Full Version : Faction v Faction in modern war - Is it a sign of things to come in KA

As we all know - the team at Gree do like to try things out in MW before they port it to other games. This weekend they have released a new faction v faction PVP event - 3 days long - just burning as much stamina as you can to earn battle points.
Now i know that there are no battle points in KA yet. But it could be a simple port to have kingdom age style rankings for PVP as they do in MW.. Court Jester right the way through to advanced knight of the relm etc. etc. with unit/cash/honour rewards for completing each level.
What are peoples view on this?
Do you want to see 3 day mini tournaments between guild wars.
Keeps the game play interesting if you have completed all maps or are camping. (you can always farm low xp buildings for points)
let have an open discussion please rather than gree money grabbing again comments.

I think this sounds very interesting! It would be fun if these were once a month spaced equally between once a month guild wars.

I like the idea. Anything to generate new events instead of the rut we are in.

I'm ok with a PvE Guild based challenge system.
More PvP? What's the real change up from the Guild War? Nothing.

New PvP could work, just I agree with Jonny - it sounds the same thing the way it is described. Can you explain what the difference is?
I could see a fun PvP where you get points based off of raiding buildings, or total buildings raided or some such.
Overall, +1 to the idea.

I like this.
But, again, a PvE Guild based LTQ/event would be glorious. Having players defeat epic monsters. Together. Work through collect/item drops. Together. Half the Guild working on a loot drop while the others are busy taking out MOB's. Unless of course it was sequential. But, team building at its finest.

I agree. The idea you mentioned was part of poll a little bit ago that had some pretty good responses.

Maybe it is already under way?

The more variation of events, the better. And this would be more interesting than the previous, painfully boring PVP LTQs.
I agree with Jonny that an epic, guild PVE LTQ would be amazing.

Also agree sounds like a winner, Thanks Jonny
Bad idea.
It makes no sense to introduce yet another event when there is not enough time between events to begin with.
Most of the people in MW, such as myself, just don't care about these events, with crappy unit payouts.
Like here, the event(s) are dominated by gold buying members, and the fact that gold buying exists for events, just takes the fun and interest out of it for everyone else.
Why "compete", if you can even call it that, when you know you will never ever get a top prize by playing fairly, honestly and strategically without gold? No POINT what-so-ever!
Leave these games and mini-games to the rich spoiled kids that have nothing better to do than spend their daddy's money.
I'd like to see them put the money to better use, like helping to solve world hunger or education for those that can't afford it.
Myself... I'm out.
I'll stick to putting a few casual hours a week into this game... same as before all these insane gold-spending events designed to make ONE billionaire game site owner even more rich!

Fixed. Charity isn't the consensus for all.

Not more frequency but maybe a change in flavor here and there will keep things interesting. Deff not squeeze more events in per month but a wider selection to rotate.
Personally I would love to see 2 day wars once a month and less events between wars, that's my thought.
Some may like the non stop events and I guess no one forces us to to do every LTE that comes along :)

I dunno, Charity seemed to be a pretty popular girl back in high school.
