If you could start over, knowing what you know now, what would you do differently?

Lighten up a little man :)
The thread you linked as almost 2 weeks old. Things get lost in these forums, plus they haven't set out any good guidelines for what "Necro" threads are.
The forum has been very quiet lately, so its always a good idea to throw around topics that spike conversation.

The game has changed so much since the addition of high level units as rewards for LTQ's and battles.

Originally - camping was an excellent (if not a little broing) way to give you the best start to the game. Now it is all about the stats - getting as strong as you can as quick as you can - and the only way to do that is by levelling up.

I have recently duting wars come up against players at level 75-80 with over 600K attack/defence.

It looks like being 6000 or 7000 x you level is going to be the new attack stat norm.

if you going to start again i would invest your time heavily in IPH for the first 20 levels. Semi camping - only doing EB and box events.

start slow. Then once your at least 1000x then go for it with PVP and LTQ's

it has taken me a year of playing to get to 3000x my level - i power leveled for months before reading this forum.

listen to all that is said and make up your own mind dude. at the end of the day it is a game and you should enjoy it however you decide to play it.

This is what it is going to look like after a good Moderator comes into the picture.

Instruct to Search. If the thread is old, it will have been closed thus no worries on a Necro & it also means the searcher can read. If it poses more questions, start the process over. If it can't be found, then a new thread can be started.

This is how a quality forum will roll. Smooth and efficient.

Looks like the LTQs have changed the game just like they have in MQ!! Thanks everyone for the feedback.

And...as a MQ player who can just as frustrated with the amount of time spent babysitting, camping, etc, I can appreciate the thought of not playing at all. Actually, I downloaded the game months ago but deleted it after a couple of days. Then downloaded again yesterday and had 89 pending ally requests and thought.....well.....

Not everyone is really high stats, If you can live with not having the best stats or being number 1 in ranks. You can still have fun with the game if you don't worry about what other people are doing and what they have. The trick is not to get sucked in hehe that's the hard part :)
