Massive lose in defense points after upgrade

So i have been hearing a lot of rumours that when you upgrade this game you may suffer a loss in defense or attack points. I accepted this as i updated the game.

However, i do not accept losing over 12,000 defense points!!!

My defense before was around 49,000, it is now 37,977!!.

How have i lost so much defense from just upgrading!

My attack seems to have stayed the same.

I had that problem too after an update. Could have been an error wi your original stats. I lost the same a month ago, never was readjusted. Easier to accep it and move on.
