I think we have different reasons "for cause." You can see his walk throughs burned through cash. Real cash. If people ask to donate, that's between them. Soliciting is when he goes out and says, "Hey, I'm going to do this and you should send me money." I read all his posts and it wasn't in that context.

I don't know. I'm tempted to stop doing LTEs and possibly stop caring about wars after what's been happening lately. We should be able to kick people out during war so non-active members don't benefit from others spending a lot of $ to keep us in Top xxx. (xxx being wherever we are...500, 250, etc)

I attacked someone on my rivals list earlier today, and saw "the Devin unit" as their top unit in their top-45...I think it was the first time I had seen someone with one

I then clicked the Raid button so I could send them a message to the effect of "wow you have the Devin unit, cool, that event was tough!" but when I clicked Raid, after a few seconds, the app crashed

I feel like this needs clarification. He never asked for donations. We suggested he take them. That's not what caused this.

Devin may or may not do the walkthroughs anymore, and I am sure he has reasons for either decision. I do hope he returns to the forum. These forums are a better place when respected individuals contribute. And I don't think any member is more respected for their contributions than Devin.

I can't speak for Devin. He may return at some point. He pops in to chat every once in a while, but he is not playing MW right now and stated he had deleted the app. His base is still intact, so the app can be reinstalled at any time. But his future is uncertain as is many others.

He will have to speak for himself why he chose to leave or take a break. I doubt it has anything to do with LTQ.

Many have stated they have quit, thinking about it or are stepping away for a while. Those all stated the reasons being the hacking and cheating being done. Yes a hack/bug has been closed, but there are many, many more actively being used.

I was not banned because of any of the Paypal/LTQ discussion.

Maverick and Pelle Plutt are correct though, that my future playing MW is uncertain, and there's a strong likelihood I don't return. I've deleted MW, though did not sell my base or anything. I also don't check into the forums either (I'm here because Maverick asked me to check in).

To those lamenting the lack of a guide going forward, I'm sure that there are plenty of people who will advance fairly far on the upcoming LTQs. Can I suggest that someone else with a generous heart take up the mantel and do the walkthrough? I never get that far as a free player or I would. Could be a group effort.

Kick them out once the clock for WD event runs out. They won't get any rewards. It works, cos we've done that before. Good luck to you @ Australia. :)
