Got 110 k respect, don't know what to buy exceleros or explosives?

I'm currently level 69, and have like 84K respect. I was considering saving up my RP for the highest tier items. Would it be better to wait for those? (like the Clean End, and Assassin's Coat, and Execeleros) or should I just go ahead and buy 3 Doomsday Grenades?

If you don't need the bump in stats right now, then I'd suggest saving them. Otherwise, the night vision binoculars are my personal favorite.

doomsday frags and diseased grenades are a cheater's favorite weapon. I'd stay away from them in general.

15 doomsday frags? That's awesome. Thought I have quit a bit, and worrying being called cheater n reported to support. :) I have 11 n the 12th almost there. I had +11 rp when robbing mod, plus the new collect 10 item, I have + 16 rp when robbing.

I would say keep your old RP. Probably, at some point, there will be new set of RP weapons like in MW.

Lucky you. I either have +11 or +12 thanks to the new collect 10. I have more attack mods I believe but the XP is too much for the RP. I have terrible luck finding casinos and palms but I don't mind finding hoods with every little 3 hour building now either.

I would buy zero and regret the ones I bought. Even my campers are buying doomsday frags, the explosives aren't limited by level like the other high end RP items.

ignore the stupid advice to stay away from doomsday frags, its the best explosive you can get with RP and would be mad to ignore it if you can get some.

that's like saying don't do any of the events as getting the top prizes also makes you look like a hacker.

my advice is to buy nothing but the best available as you will regret buying the low level stuff.

Yes, the high end items are useful now and will be useful for many levels forward. Those NVBs become worthless before you know it.

And those events are ongoing all the time except during wars. They should decrease the cost of most respect items and bring out new better stat items for the equivalent cost of the doomsday frag.

When I have 500 explosives that have 100/40 stats or better I will agree with you. And yes I am sure at some point CC will come out with new respect items and the current ones will seem weak in comparison.

I can buy nice cars, armor, guns, and melee items with cash. They also come with the events you speak of. There is no cash substitute for non-consumable explosives.

To give you an idea, my L90 account has 225 armor items that have better attack stats then 16 and 370 items with better defense then 16. And that is just from events and scratchers....

I haven't bought any frags yet. I've only been buying assassins coats, but plan to start buying frags. No one is gonna think you cheat unless you have hundreds. And even then if someone reports you, Gree can still check transactions. They won't ban you just because you have a ton of frags. Buy the best items you can. Save your respect for the top tier items, doomsday frag included.

I have aprox 90K Respect. I also took a inventory of my items list and found that I have 175 guns that have stats with a combined att/def stat of 30+ (M249 Machine Gun 7att/23def and above). So, to boost my stats I could spend money and/or respect on a few items.

32 Deadly Barrels 48/33 at 2,850R a piece boosting me 1536/1056 before bonuses.
40 Street vengeance 40/37 at 3,000R, 1200/1110.
3 Doomsday Frag 100/40 at 28,000R, 300/120.
4 Disease Grenade 48/84 at 22,000R, 192/336.

I also compared this to buying money items. Say I spent 100,000,000 on a single type of item. This is not hard to do.

20 Helicopters 20/20 at 5M each gave me +400/400
12 Armored Jets 24/36 at 8.4M each gave me +288/432
130 Stealth Armor 21/24 at 770K each gave me +2730/3120

I think I would save my money to buy a building during an event and get similar bonuses and a building to boot.
I might by the Stealth Armor at times when the events buildings are crap.

You can farm gooch's roaster which has 43 attack. You can buy with in game cash a gun that has 70/42 for 6.8mm. The only explosives you can buy with in game cash are consumable and only serve as a fun way for your enemies to burn your money.

I was 100% into Assassin's Coats (I have 40, so far) But now I'm thinking I'm going to evenly buy Doomsdays, Coats and maybe Clean Ends as well. I'm trying to gauge how many items that I'm getting in the events that are better then these three (currently) end game RP items. I am going to buy them together unless I see that I'm getting more high-end events items in one category or another, then I'll shift my strategy a little.
