Palm Hotel worth the investment?

If you were to put aside your bias towards gold - would you consider a Palm Hotel worth your investment, or would you rather use that gold towards an LTQ event - or crates, etc?

It used to be the third best building, but with the pagoda it is at least fourth.

If you have two of each LE building so far it's less valuable than it used to be.

^^ True, and if Gree really comes out with a new building between every war the LTB's will lose value as well except for the type A and we can afford to be choosy as to which LTB's to participate in.

It's all relative, how much do you spend? If you are a vault+/month type player, yeah get it...if you are saving up tapjoy gold then no, they're are better uses for your money.

But like it's been said, it's the 4th best building, and it's 24hrs which is a bonus. So, I'd say it's worth it.

Yes this is true, but my Palm's still account for 10% of my IPH...

anything 24/48 hours is worth the investment provided u have enough to spend. for 500x2 gold, u r looking for buying almost a vault of gold that costs $99.99 .. i've settled with casinos, pagodas and the mill .. not saying that i wouldn't love the palm hotels, would love to buy them cuz they look pretty but i'm not willing to throw away 1000 gold :)

You're absolutely right. I guess it is relative. If you have the money - why not. But, then that 1000 gold could end up finishing half an LTQ event giving u sizable increase in stats.

I have 2. I don't regret buying them, the only gold I spend Is from itunes cards i get as gifts,i would suggest to anybody that gets them upgrade them to at least level 5, mine are both at 6. It puzzles me that anybody would spend 1000 gold and not upgrade. More then half I come across are level 1. Currently want to upgrade them but with new buildings they have been put aside.

The dockside mill is expensive to upgrade ain't it though and its ugly.

I have two palm hotels, I bought them long before there was any talk of LTQ's in this or any other gree/funzio game and bought them with gold bought in a sale so didn't cost me as much as normal, no regrets here but I agree that if I was in that position now I probably wouldn't bother as the gold would be better used on LTQ's, upgrading LE buildings and special edition items.

Which is better to buy special edition items or crates? I've bought some of each in the past but the new higher priced and higher stat containing crates look a much better buy now.

the trouble I have with crates is the gamble, some of the LE equipment is great and some is a complete waste of time just check it out when the splash screen appears and make your mind up.

I've got 1 Palm Hotel and 520 gold in hand, all from TJ. Palm will be my solo gold investment. For LTQs/wars/etc, please take a look at stats inflation, anything you put into stats will became worthless in a short time.

The only reason I've not built my 2nd Palm yet is because I don't have time to upgrade it. After all, lv1 Palm adds little to IPH
