as soon as we break our 250 and go into the hundreds, it seem that we get matched up with teams that have 3x our stats...
Any other 250 or higher factions noticing this?

Does anyone know how they match up the battles?

Nope, we fight hard teams but we're a hard team to beat.

We fought a team that wasn't even top 4000, and we are around 900.

Yeah, I definitely have seen the same effect. If you break into a threshold, you are matched up with tougher opponents. Can't say they are 3 times as hard, but...

Top 250 here.

We've had some awful match ups vs. top factions. When we do face a peer faction we tend to do well since we're organized and score a ton of points...of course that just flings us into top 25/50 opponent land again.

We were top 75 earlier....just cause we had a great matchup to start....that was pretty touch that second battle. Lol

I'm in Mr. Pink's faction. Our first matchup was against a top 10 faction. They racked up 2 mil points on us. It was an awful sight to see. However, when we face other top 250 teams, generally in the 100-400 range, we hold our own and score anywhere between 50k-200k points.

I guess somebody has to get paired up against the top 50 factions, im sure they love seeing some teams in the 250 range

It happens at times, however can't say for sure.
I'm in a top 500 faction, have been against factions of top 250-1000 size for now.
