I would assume so with 1300+ armor final defense. 875 attack though. However it's worth mentioning that there is no easily craftable fire/wind armor. Barbarian Raiding gear I think is only one that comes to mind.

On this same note, I've been having such great success with maxed Half Dragon. I've gone through 15 boss levels with only my main Knight and should be good for at least 2, maybe 3 more.

Add that to a defense stat of 1364, and I think you have an armor with the potential to do quite well in the arena.

It's also worth noting that Blackfrost Rainments are fairly popular. Fire beats spirit, Wind beats water. You'll still be taking damage, but you'll be dealing a hefty amount too. The ability to stand toe-to-toe with a new legendary is worth attention. Even if it only comes down to who goes first to decide victory, it's a better advantage than losing out because of a higher attack stat and a more commonly geared against elemental combo.

Don't forget it costs another 3m to enhance it, as well as a lot of time, for an armor that's not even substantially better than the Big 4.

The Big 4 are four strong and adventure craftable level 50 armors. Good power and easy to obtain and max. These are Atlantean Avenger+, Crius Armor+, Living Flame+ and Hydra Hunter+.

Might be useful for some Epic Bosses on 3rd knight, but this isn't an amazing help and pretty rare, so imo a waste of EP.

By the time you're done, you should have leveled enough to be able to get the craft able 70s, which are generally solid. For example, for fire/spirit, I have a living flame, got an epic boss armor, and am now working on Dark Prince (I only got 43 kills on that raid boss). So it's kind of silly to go after another LF, for example. AA might be worthwhile, except FE is kind of close and better, or swamp shaman, enough that the defense might compensate in unfavorable elemental matchups.

It's not advisable to craft the boss armor if you can't also craft the + version as the armor stats you see on the boss screen is the + version. If you craft the regular version it's much much weaker and you would be wasting the 200k to craft the armor. You'd be better off saving that 200k to expand your castle or enhance the big 4.

I think it depends, this armor is FIRE/AIR and there are only 2 other armors of that kind ( I think so) Barbarian and Flamethingy finery, and this week's epic boss gives an armor that actually is better than the finery, and way easier to acquire than the barbarian, plus, 200k in one week is not that hard to acquire,and if you're having trouble getting them, you can still wait. It's just my opinion after all, but I think people have to see for themselves if it is worth it, especialy for this week armor.

Hmm but even so, it's probably not worth the time and money to be upgrading the normal version. Furthermore, if you ever happen to chance upon the armor in the dpc, you'll be able to unlock and craft the +version with your materials. I would say that the time and resources would have been better spent on other storyline 70+ boss armors that provide better stats.

It will take 3mil+ gold just to get an armor to lvl 70. You would also have to farm and craft the feeders. Would take 3-5 days depending on how diligent you work on it without using fusion stones to get 50ep armor just to max a sub par lvl 70 armor.

No matter how you look at it, it's a lose lose situation.

It takes around 3 mil to max a 70 armor from what I've heard. Doesn't make sense to spend so much time and resources on a sub par 70 armor. You'd be better of maxing your big 4 and getting a storyline 70+ armor like Swamp shaman+, dark prince+ and infernal lord+.

I did this when I was level 40 also. It probably is better than the armor that you have available to you. I can tell you from personal experience, however, that you will be better off using that gold to the big 4 and getting through the story. I eventually ended up just fusioning my epic armors I had collected and forged previously, and if I took the 200k from each of those back, I would be much better off with daily currency accumulation than I am. If you really want to collect them, or like the way they look, by all means defeat the epic up to 15. Just save the 200k and don't craft the armor until your big 4 is done. When you look back you will be happy you did.

I know how cool and glamorous boss armor are, I felt the same way when I was a noob and also crafted a couple of regular boss armor and it was only 50k to craft then. If I had found this forum sooner I could have avoided wasting time, gold and resources. But as they say experience is the best teacher. We're just giving you advice so as you can progress with the game quickly and then have the ability to get the + version of boss armor.

Mind you the costs of enhancing too. These are much greater than the costs of crafting the armor.

Getting a big four +version to 50 is solid; you'll use at least one for, most likely the rest of your time playing, at least on a secondary knight once you've superseded it. Event boss Armors require 43 kills - generally outside the reach of midrange players - this answering in default to discard the armor in practical terms. That's all before considering the specific armor, this week's being heavily defensive biased, which becomes a point of decision and the majority seem to prefer offensive balanced Armors, in the main. That's all without considering the element line up.

Around level 30 still isn't nearly as good as a maxed armor of one of the Big 4. Before you have the Big 4 maxed and all your expansions unlocked and filled with level 2+ training fields, it isn't quite worth it considering working with 70s yet. And after that it will be a choice of whether the boss armor you have accessible is better than story armors like swamp+ or inf+.
