Even the cost of the single crate went up by 20 gold; was 70, now 90. Better units or GREE just getting greedy? Maybe they think players aren't going to spend gold on the upcoming event, but will to buy units. Hmmmm I'm not bad mouthing GREE; just posting a thought provoking question.

if gree dropped the price to say 200 fro three that would be much better value, id consider doing it, but never, totally gold free here, oh and your mum is actually doing you good by stopping you.

I think it's a bit of both. The stats for the Commons are on par with past offerings, but the Uncommons and Rares have received a healthier boost in overall stats, and they're banking on players being enticed by the possibility of landing the Heavy Siege Cannon. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't interested in landing any of the Rares, but the price increase is giving me serious pause. At 175, it would have been an automatic purchase for me (heck, maybe two), but at 250, it's a tougher sell, even with the bump in stats. Like Big John said: "Would hate to get 3 spetsnaz after paying that."
