I am hitting guys with tens of millions of unvaulted cash, but the payouts are little to nothing. What is going on?

How do you know it's unvaulted?

How do you know it's unvaulted?

Because I can see it in their profile.

Wow. Doesn't mean it's unvaulted. You can see all cash on hand. Vaulted or not.

Unless the guy has more than 90 million, you absolutely can't tell if its in their vault or not...

Correct there is no way to determine if Cash is Vaulted or not. In fact even over 90 million there are rare occassions that a player has that money vaulted because it has been put there by gree (refund/compensation etc)

That sucks... strange that after 200 raids I am only now finding vaulted players. Why is it that so many of my rivals have no cash? I thought it was hidden by the vault. Or do they all just donate it to the faction so there is nothing left.

A raid has nothing to do with vaulted cash. An attack does. So if your statement above is "after 200 attacks" then probably you are hitting people who are vaulted.

I personally only stay over-vaulted when I am going after an especially large building. Any other time I donate to bring me just below my vault.

90 mil is the max vault size, if you see amount over that then its unvaulted.

Are there any signs to look for to suggest someone is over vault besides that? I only hit rivals that look like they are saving for LE buildings. I know it takes a long time to build a $30-50 million vault. These guys must have been camping for a long time. Their IPH doesn't suggest they did much to advance their economy over that time, but they are sitting on huge cash.

Also, you can get maximum (300K x 12) $3.6 mil from one opponent. That is what I get normally, I never get more than $300K per attack.

What level are you? Most players 150+ hardly ever overvault unless they know that nobody can touch them.

i believe that it is a max of 10% of overvaulted cash per attack with a 300k max and a total of 12 attacks. so the most you can ever get from attacking (not raiding) is 3.6m

If you are a lower level player, it's much easier to find players over vault, as the vault limits are pretty low vs. income potential & vault upgrade time.
