Knowing what you know now...how would you build your account priority wise?

Getting to 500 allies first, then all the dummy allies from fighting would be bonus; could end up with over 600 allies.

camping and doing the boss events and earning the grand prize units

joining a top 100 guild and getting the units and unit bonuses; while being a wall breaker.

only doing the LTE's that offer minimal experience.

any other ideas?

Edit: apologies for hijacking Garen Argon.. Truth is, I am happy with my hero development. I camped for 6-7 months before I started leveling, and considering all the variables recently It was a good choice.

I would not bother. Trouble with these games now is they do not support new players due to LTQ and guild war units. Starting now you would be so far behind you would never be able to catch up due to all the missed LTQ’s and guild event bonuses. The only way to gain stats now relative to others is to complete a LTQ that they don’t or finish higher in a guild war even buying gem units is not really an option since even if you spent 1,500,000 gems buying 1500 Arborial archer that is still only 1.44m attack and 961k defense which is ok but that is a huge gem expenditure compare to what those already there have spent even I am 1.2m attack and 1.1m defense and I have used 10k gems total at L122.

Camping isn’t really an option either since completing boss events are nothing even if you gain 40k during a boss event it is very limited how long you can do this for and eventually you will end up at a stage where you are too high level to complete bosses but also to weak for anything else.

I would try to camp to build my IPH, not because it's necessarily a better strategy than anything else, but because I enjoy the process and having a high IPH. I would also keep my ally count low and join a camping guild.

I also think it highly depends on what you expect to get out of the game. As a free player, I never had any illusion that I would compete at the highest level. I just wanted to have some fun and kill some time. This game has provided for both.

I would not want to do it over again. This is simply a huge waste of time for very little return. I mean think about it, the only pleasure this gives you is you have better pixels then other strangers. It doesn't have great graphics. It doesn't have great controls. There's no action at all. There's virtually no skill or strategy involved. The more you pay, the more you win. It's as simple as that.

The ONLY reason I'm still playing is because I'm a free player (L70 198k/170k) and I've already invested a lot of time in it. The guild has made it a little better because I get to actually have meaningful discussions about the game and we joke around about real life sometimes so that's cool. That is the only aspect of the game I really enjoy, and that doesn't rely on my stats.

In all honesty I wish I could have started playing KA from the very beginning so I could have enjoyed more of what it used to be. I think I started playing around October last year so I'm not sure how much I actually missed out on.

Why ? That's my answer to the question...is it because you played the wrong way? Is there a wrong way to play...level to fast..didn't get your IPH up high enough . Forgot some LTQ's, didn't do well in boss/Box events, found a different style of play ?
Or maybe you need some huge amounts of gold at the start like most new players! To have everything by level 50

I saw a guild or two during the last war that was housing some very low level members that I understand are some of the members' alt-accounts so they get high ranking bonuses to get them started. I don't know if I have enough interest left in this game to start fresh. Even my lvl 50 camper is becoming a rarely checked on account.

However, if you have the energy and desire to start again, I'd say buy/earn entry into a guild and camp there if you're serious about it. Imagine a lvl one account sitting in FUN for a few wars.
