I would just like everyone to know that "The Royal Knights" guild is not part of Royal Knights. We have two guilds; RK and ~RK~. So, TRK is not part of us.

However FUN did complain that GREE do nothing about hackers and hacker guilds and they almost lost a fight due to this. I thought that they would too take part in a boycott to get these things fixed.

But there is another mentality... Get so far ahead with war bonuses etc that hackers can't even touch you with their 1500 voracious. I see where they are coming from.

Finally someone has spoken the truth! Thank you Ryan.

Lets set this straight:
FACT: FUN created the leaders Chat before Blighted Woods to call for a boycott in purchasing and lowering gem spenditure.
FACT: Initially only founders/selected leaders/ambassadors of guilds were invited to prevent an 'every man and his dog opinion' which wld only create too many opinions and digress from the focus of what needed to be done.
FACT: Unfortunately, that's what happen. There were leaders who were bringing constructive feedback and opinions on how best to organise and tackle the issues at hand, but others that turned the chat into a mess.
FACT: leaders of hacked guilds somehow joined that chat...but instead of acknowledging the facts that hacked gold gave them 60 spots with 3 weeks of guilds opening, he professed their innocence that they did nothing wrong. The said they suspected that the person in question hacked and then he left. But they did not hit down the guild nor did GREE for that matter, even though they immediately shut down DWs guild upon watchin them go from 34 members to 54 in less than 2 weeks. Something wrong tere hey?
FACT: After watching that leaders chat room turn into a 'mess', many of the leaders simply packed their bags and left.
FACT: So, no one honoured the original boycott that was organised and initiated firstly by FUN. Everyone went hard out in Blighted Woods, so FUN simply did the same and quickly caught up to overtake for first after watching all other guilds simply did the opposite of what was discussed.
FACT: The current boycott, which to some extent is showing some good involvement, involved many guilds but FUN clearly stated that they wld remain first, but lower their gem spenditure...which is exactly what they are doing. THIS IS WHAT THEY STATED THEY WLD DO AND THIS IS WHAT THEY ARE DOING! PERIOD!

So, go flame grill your beef burger you bunch of sooks having a go at FUN because they are doing exactly what they said they wld do. Go cry to Mommy, better still, stick a dummy in your mouth and suck it up cry boys.

I appreciate your opinion, but I cannot completely agree with you.
GREE will not notice much difference, as this is the first war within 2 weeks after the other one, the question indeed is if with the next war, everyone will use less gems also. if not than this war was still additional profit for GREE.

Better to have some profit, than non at all ;) ( when this war together with the next war brings in total more gems for GREE, than they still can laugh about this)

We still have 1 day and 13 hours to go, (1) FUN has already 10 mill. and (10)RK has 3,3 Mill. CP.
(2)The Royal Knights have 5,2 Mill & (3)Samurai Blood 3 has 5 mill., I think overall, the gems usage is still around 70% of what it normally would be ( I didn't calculate it, so just an estimation)

I also think we must not forget that many players spend less gems now, so the can use also their gems with the next war, most players have a normal job and don''t want to spend to much money in this game, so for them it's better to use some with this war and some with the next war...

Anyway...1 day and 13 hours to go !! Wish you all an enjoyable war!

It's only because FUN is the first guild that started to ask guild leaders to sit together, talk about what would be done to force GREE to make this game better (at least, for their interest). When the result of the discussion was to refrain from using gems, FUN walked out by saying they didn't agree to join the boycott. I can't blame them, I believe it's because FUN doesn't want their top position is filled by other guild. And I also can't blame the current guilds in #2 or #3, because I don't think they attend the discussion.

All I can say about this boycott is that FUN is laughing out loud. They don't have to spend gems as much as they used to. And so do the guilds that didn't attend the discussion, coz now might be the only opportunity to be on top guilds. All with the same reason; we never said we will refrain from buying/spending gems. And when this boycott doesn't make GREE change their way in running this game, these guilds will laugh louder.

I think we just have to forget the boycott story! It never had any chance of survival.
If many guilds including FUN & RK didn't agree with a war within 2 weeks and really wanted to protest against hackers, they just needed to sit this war out! talk about using less gems etc...all doesn't make any difference...

Of course many point their vinger also to FUN ( not always fair), but FUN is( was) the example Guild, the core group of KA, in my opinion, when they lead the list, the should also lead the protest.

I never actually saw this complete "List" of guilds that were going GEM free! I apologize for remarks made about FUN as I've realized the last couple days that they weren't the ones on the list that said they were not going to use gems. It's too bad that this couldn't have been organized into a "No Battle War", maybe that's the problem!? We obviously enjoy this game for some reason or another otherwise we wouldn't be here arguing over this! Every guild that signed on to be gem free should be ashamed if they've used them for any reason!!! For the hundredth time TRKs pledge was to not use gems unless others broke their end of the bargain...so just like FUN never agreeing, we never agreed to completely and utterly not use them! Did anyone in the guilds from #1-#25 think that people weren't going to use Gems?!?! We thought there would be at least 1-2 top ten guilds that broke their agreement with the rest of you! I keep saying this but it's true, DON'T BE MAD AT THE GUILDS THAT USED GEMS WHEN THEY WEREN'T ON THE LIST IN THE FIRST PLACE! Get over it and move on, look at the guilds that pledged they wouldn't use them then ended up 2-10! If you think that these guilds have not you are probably too obtuse "not quick or alert in perception, feeling, or intellect; not sensitive or observant; dull." (For you select few who are included in this category)to hold a job or wipe your butt or take a shower! This is a joke and a moot point, wait till the end and see where people stand, and look to see if they signed the "list" before you strap them to the cross!!! I agree, normally a 30% decrease would set off alarms, but as this is just a battle between the other battles which were 1x in a month, no alarm bells can go off yet..we first need to wait which direction and frequency the guild wars will go to...

We still fight gem free. We blame the failure on FUN alone. We saw the HUGE difference between 1st and 2nd place when the war started. For now, yes. Wait for when other guilds realize that RK and other guilds started burning gems already and their gem-free attitude will not be significant anymore compared to gems burnt by the guilds to return to their positions.

And if I were GREE, seeing this boycott is down, I will do whatever I wish. A war every week, or multiple events simultaneously. Go GREE, no guilds can stop you from doing these now. You're gonna make more money from their addiction to the game. Congratulations!!!

Some members of RK were using gems on the first day. No doubt about it. They scored 330k cp on us. They have 56 members. Assuming an average of 400cp per attack (which is probably high) and ignoring the fact that they would expend some attacks on our wall, they would have to average 14.7 attacks per member that hour, or one every 4 minutes. And this also assumes that all 56 members were active for the battle, which is very unlikely.

Of course not, I have a similar opinion as NBK, not is such harse words, but still in the same direction.
That the TOP10 guils have enough money to spend, they don't have to proof, we know that already.

The only thing what they needed to proof was to stand by their words, well they failed in that.
Same for FUN, to make a difference you have to act different and let your pride go, only way for succes was not participating in this war, that was a real stand, not a poor excuse, we will use less gems than normal....

This is the 1st war in 2 weeks time, I see replies, it made a difference......, well of course not, this was the 1st battle in such short time, there is nothing to compare with!!! after the next war, we can compare, count these 2 wars together and compare it with the previous war!! than I want to see the numbers and we can make a verdict.

It's funny to see, that even in a game people cannot take a stand, Many people should shout less and complain less here on the forum, because why complain to GREE, when they themselves not even can show the difference..

and about" It's a free world" yes it is, but when you take a stand, you make a commitment. Commitments are never free.

Actually I don't care how people play Sam, and I'm only worked up over liars, cheats and those that can't keep their word, whether its Gree or a guild or my mailman integrity means something and if you give your word in anything whether real life or fantasy land like here maybe you should keep it, otherwise your word really carried no weight at all and it will continue to be worthless in the future.

Maybe I'm just too old school and have too much integrity and honor to do what they've done!!! I'm glad you're ok with that but it's not how it's suppose to be! You obviously condone liars and people not keeping their word. I have no problem with people doing what they want and playing how they want! My problem is with people lying and saying they are not going to use gems and then being hypocrites and otherwise dishonorable after the fact. If you don't agree with or like Gree's business practices or are sick of the bickering then QUIT! For what its worth, one of the BGK guilds (the one lead by Black Gryffyn) also switched to gems.

From the beginning of this so called revolution, I believed that it's just a strategy of top guilds to secure their position.
It started with the anxiety of top guilds caused by GREE throwing so many events simultaneously in short period of time. It requires lots of gems to stay on top, and gems requires money. However, money is not available all the time.
So, not everyone in those guilds have deep pockets. Top position is endangered, but they still wanna be on top. How to solve this?

So they got together and talked. Boycott came as a solution. They asked other lower guilds to follow the boycott. The lower guilds dont even know that they're being used (LOL). FUN said no to boycott. some others sticked with it, with a condition ofcourse, that they will start burn gems if any guild start using. a few swallowed the pact. They stick to it even now. Some pact huh?

FUN has the most benefit from this boycott. The amount of gems need to be spent is lower than half of they burnt from last 3-days war to stay on #1. Those guild who wait n see, find that last day is the day to start burning. It doesn't matter who started first, coz it'll be debatable. I feel sorry (and respect) for those guilds that showing honor and integrity, which still dont spending gems. But mostly sorry.

Anyway, those hypos achieved their true goal for this moment. Which is being in top guilds but not many gems have to be spent.

Absolutely agree. It is no coincidence that the two guilds that have the most to gain from a large gem "boycott" are using gems.

It was written in the sky that this boycott would be benificial to the top guilds. This war is much less costly! However, I wonder how come the hackers players/guilds are not in the first place.....
