Attack/Defense goals?

After I got about 21000 attack/defense, I stopped getting the goals, and I actually passed the amount needed for the golden weapons. Anyone know why?

You have to do the add a certain # of mafia goals to continue

A/D goals are mixed in with the mafia size goals. If you have a mafia size one active, you won't get any more A/D goals until you complete the mafia one.

You should also note that you can auto-complete the goals if you've already surpassed the stat requirement for one but not the other (e.g. if you had a real defense of 40k but an attack of only 20k, you will keep getting the attack goals, while the rewards for the defense goals that you pass are quietly slipped into your inventory/bank).
