Well here response from Gree

We haven't cut them out entirely, there will be another one soon. Do you guys like this current event so far?

I don't like the current event because I prepared for the boss event and don't like, that the boss event will be replaced by any other event.

What also is not nderstandable that the totally boring "collect crate event" is still here and the boss event might come sometimes in the future as it was always a fixed event between WD wars. In any case the Boss Events are the only Events I plan to spend any Gold.

I suggest to replace the crate Event with a Boss Event. Ist not too late.

As the answer from Gree suggests the pay what your owe won't be a Boss Event (was not expecting to be one anyway).

Just my 50 Cents regarding this topic.

Since they're doing wars every few hours now, they can skip doing a boss event between two wars and still have one a month like they used to.

well, maybe you should prepared better??

Don't hate an event just because you weren't ready for it.

I am actually very happy Gree changed the format and no longer have the horrible building hunting aspect. Good job guys.

As for bosses, Yes, you do get to fight bosses (even for earlier level), but it's all the way up at goal 30 and above.

That is, at best, a phenomenal misunderstanding of the entire point of this thread.

I'd gladly forgo crate events for boss events if that were an option for Gree.

I also like the boss events better than anything. Why can't it be 1 LTQ, 1 crate event and 1 boss event per cycle. Seems to make sense to me.

This LTQ was nothing special IMO rewards were so so at best, no items with modifiers. Didn't seem worth the effort or XP gain. Big advantage to higher levels as they have more energy. Unless you have 1000 energy why would you waste gold on a refill it is just not worth it.

Can't imagine they getting much gold spend from lower level folks. At least boss events all levels participate and get same benefit from a gold refill.

What about players that made more of a PvP build with low energy.
They are not spending then either on this event. At least the mixed style event got them involved.

I'm level 28 and was looking forward to the boss event. Right now the only thing I can participate in is the Dockside Mill Madness and the 75 Million to start it is way beyond my price range. Guess I just hang out till the next battle starts. I bought gold for the last boss event, so it doesn't look like they'll be getting money from me this go around.

The mill doesn't seem like that great of an investment anyway.
If you have the money laying around and nothing else to buy, then sure...
otherwise there are better things you could invest in.

As to the events, I've enjoyed all of them so far.
Some I can complete, some I can't, they're fun anyway.

No matter what they do, someone is going to complain about it.

the Mill fails because it's way too expensive to start with. Pagoda is very popular in comparison.

the next building needs to be no more than 35 million dollars... Ideally smaller and type A building.

However, they can't make every single one the newest BEST building in the game. I think it also shows a players dedication to getting the items when, even with such a horrible building, they still go for two and level one out to ten just for the amazing items that hardly anyone else will have!

how does it show "dedication" when people get a building that doesn't really help them in the long term??

Unless there's a prize for having every single building in game. it's absolutely pointless... Best players manage their hood well because it needs to be efficient as well as productive. and this building is NEITHER

Same here... I have a low-level secondary account and the boss events were the only way for me to score decent items for now. Going to miss the 2k attack/defense bump.

Why all the hate for the mill? Sure, it's no pagoda, but the pagoda is pretty clearly the second best building in the game. The mill is a heavy-hitting type-b with short upgrade times. It hardly does nothing for ones economy, it's up there with palms and casinos as a serious late-game building.
