wierd glitch?

First of all I dont think this person is cheating or anything I think its just a glitch on grees part.
I goto my rivals list and im level 204 and I try to attack the person. When it attacks him the player changes to pevel 250 and has the goggles that wrre awarded to players who reached the level cap after the cap raise. Has anyone else experienced this? Its happened to me with three different rivals. I screen shotted the last one but I cant uplad it due to its resolution.

Yes, it's been happening ever since they raised the level cap. Most commonly a player shows up and their true level is +/-10 of that shown on the rivals list, but recently the discrepancies have been more or less random.
