The Gladwin Faction final battle

That was a hectic final 30min because of you guys!! What a crazy blast at the end there.

For those curious, CCK and Gladwin were in war for the last battle hour fighting for rank 750. We at CCK were well into top 750 by 30k until that last hour and we sank down to exactly 750. Score was CCK 7k Gladwin 14k. Then it was CCK 8k Gladwin 50k. Then it was CCK 14k vs 57k as we got to the 30min mark and we were right at rank 750 we got worried, our 10k buffer was now shortly a deficit and these guys are scrambling. We fought hard until war end which left 8min in the event. We finished the battle with CCK @ 30,933 vs Gladwin @ 106,500. Putting our teams with a final total of... 647,370cck and 668,629 for Gladwin. I think someone has a very angry wife now! As we watch we have 5k keeping us in the top 750. At 4 min it was 4k holding us in, finally at one minute to spare, only 3k. A mere thread!

Moral of the story, yes your measly 3k points does matter!! And yes, it can make a difference! Fun times!

Good to see even the teams that far back can have good competition and fun. Now where's gambit with his makeshift leaderboard,lol. I feel kind of bad for 11th place but its part of the game I guess. Best advice I can give to those teams is to get with other top 10 teams. Either your in it to win it or your not.

We had a similar situation for top 50 (hovering on the border for 24 hours) and sealed the deal with 500k WD points in the final battle. In Ireland we managed to pull in 600k out of the last battle to clench top 50. Who doesn't like a nail-biter?

I was also hoping someone from Gladwin would see this. It's always cool to see your faction on the Leaderboard, even if for only 15min. But your very opponents!? LoL we never saw them, blew on by. Lol
