surely all small factions / below top 1500 would be better off merging into another ? very easy if you are a small group and you get a great set of bonuses ??

why not consider it ?

what are your factions bonuses? we're about to finish in the high 1000s in colombia, and we've got 6-8 spots open. bonuses below

Health regen time -15%
Infantry defense 20%
Ground defense 15%
Air defense 15%
Building defense 10%
Building output 5%
Infantry attack 5%
Member increase +2
