What is the most popular money building? This does not include LE buildings. There will be a separate thread for those.

I think Oil rigs are one of the best money buildings. Definitely the best 24 hour payout one.

Actually, the oil rigs are far below others in per hour output and definitely not the best 24 hour unit. Per hour payouts for non-gold units are (in descending order):
Nanotech
Space Center
Nuclear Power Plant

Gold units (also in descending order)
Geothermal
Diamond Mine
Coal Mine
Biodome

Nuclear plant if you are always checking...same with nanotech...but always like collecting from the rig everyday at the same time...nice pay day for 24 hour buildings when you collect them all at the same time.

Yeah, if you collect every single time... Its much more convenient and consistent with oil rigs. But I don't check every 3 hours...
