It would be awesome if we got to fight each other like this. It is pretty comical, it also makes me really proud of my faction. Not only were we able to get 50 people to all agree to this, but also all of them to stick with it. And I think we are kicking some butt seeing how we haven't used a single med pack. Just goes to show that a good faction can do decent even without gold.

I am glad u guys were not playing gold cuz u would have destroyed us. As it was, we did not play gold either. With the way the losses are now, I am sure most of my team could not win a battle against your players. So almost all just took down the wall and hit the command center. Well, it's kinda comical. I've never been a big gold spender in the WD events. But I'd spend maybe 300 gold and that's a fair few extra hits. But....

With low WD points we get paired with lower teams. I can crush most dl's with my 400k attack (as can Miner, more so than me with his 500-600k attack).

So now I just log in, randomly beat up some folks, come here and hope were still ahead of our awesome competition at a sub-top250 level ;)

It's definitely entertaining, so long as you're not coveting huge prizes. It's like a low key novel competition ;)

Well Braveheart, we are now at 690k and 91k short of top 250 and I certainly have to say that this has become the most relaxed war we have ever fought. We figure that were doing pretty well considering we are about half strength today what with weddings, anniversaries and whatever else my teammates are up to. This is a far cry from the normal 1000-2000 or so gold that many of our team have previously spent in Battles! Let's see if we can match up in 2 hours, declare at 6pm PST and let's have a go!Good luck everyone, see you on the battlefield!

I think that the factions we have fought can attest to the fact we haven't used gold Fox Holes Donkeydix pummelled us and other factions too but we are in and out the top 250

Applaud ur actions. If only WD is a match up of commitment n strength in each faction, it could b a real benchmark of strength n teamwork.
It will be great if gree has 1 event that cannot be challenge with gold n rewards given for commitment though it will not happen.

The temptation to blast gold in last war was very high but we realised it would only be giving in. Again our allocated power attackers took out DL, scouts hit in and several players had familiar names pop up. Sadly the gold rush from other factions was too much as they all wasted hard earned cash to get beaten to the tiny rank of 250 for that extra little troop that will have a valor bonus that didnt work like the lat 5 valor boost units.

We stood by our no gold and we enjoyed it, some nice clown bashing and some awful bashing from other factions who must have said "yes we are walking all over this top 100 faction rofl".

We are brave, we are not stupid and we are also considering gold free wars in the future
