It is these kind of actions whereby you test on a live environment without any communication to Joe public that causes confusion. What if people bought gold during these 10 mins at 20% only to find out that it is now at 40%? It is these kind of, what looks on the surface as, underhand tactics that undermine the professionalism of this company and certainly does not help with future customer retention.

When the next GREE game comes along, I would not be surprised if some decide to try a different gaming company who act in a more professional manner in many aspects that you fail at. Maybe GREE US (formerly Funzio) are doing well but other parts of GREE, especially in Japan, are not doing well at all with a decline in profits. If GREE want future growth, customer retention will play a huge part in this growth and from what I am reading on these forums, the future doesn't look bright.

You seriously need to look at some of your processes before the decline escalates, because that is what your numbers are telling me.

or preparing for the upcoming WD event by releasing new server side code that stops the Cartel Bag event for some players...

This programming methodology is called 'Suck it and See' and causes a huge influx of support tickets... but I am sure GREE knows best. Dev Director/VP needs to sort his act out!

40% sale doesn't surprise me at all. People have begged on here for a 40% sale for every event and didnt get one except for the first war. Now people start posting in here about playing this war for free and see how they "entice" everyone. They're watching. Lol!

Unfortunately I ate the carrot and it turned out to be a fake carrot in the end. Purchased a vault of gold with the 40% discount and received.......nothing. Google Wallet confirmed my "purchase" or rather should I call it "donation". Sent in a ticket and hope that I will receive it before the next LTQ as that was what I was going to use it for anyways, but it would be pretty crummy if I was going to use it for the event. I read a few threads a while back about players purchasing gold and not receiving it and now I know how they feel. This was the first time I purchased gold in several months and it looks like I made the wrong decision. Thanks again to Gree for saving me money in the long run as this will be the last time I fall for the dangling carrot unless a speedy fix is in the works.
