How much energy left for Extreme Measures?

I am trying to complete the Extreme Measures goal event for the first time around. I am at 35/42, anyone know much energy left to complete this? Seeing there is only 17 hours left just curious how many refills of energy I'll need. Also, when using gold to refill the energy, will it refill my 2100 energy or just 1000?

It will refill 1000 energy. u need more than 100000 energy to complete normal.

31/53 prestige with no gold use at all, won't finish it but I'm more than happy with how far I've progressed so far. prepping for the events helps a great deal.

Is it worth changing nation to Iran for these events?

10% bonus energy regen for 50 gold...

50gold gives you 5000 energy for a standard refill.

If Iran is 10% faster regen (wich I'm not sure about) it would take just under 12days to pay for itself, so 2 LTQ

I only thought about changing flags for LTQ's briefly.
I was Iran for a while, because early on I was a big Pve player.

My figures may be off, but with Iraq you get 3.33 points a minute.
So in 72 hours that is 14,400 energy accrued.
With a Russia/England/China/USA you accrue 12,960 in the same time.
That's a change of 1,440; now think that the same 50 gold gets you 2000 energy.

Not worth it to use gold to switch to Iran, and definately not worth it to change back.

Edit: A further thought; how does 50 gold get you 5000 energy refill? I thought it was 2000. Am I missing something?

J Henry your rigth its 20gold so for 40 gold its 2000 but 10 gold left so 2500...

Anyway the only way it would be worth it is if you base your game on LTQ, then having that flag to pre-stage and to do the event could save you in the long run, but will hurt every other event...
