I know it was stupid to sell it but i wanted a big hit of cash at once to get deaaper into the pagoda.....i thought it was 50% of cost so 40+66 upgrade would be 106 mil- 50% should be 53 mil but i got 32...what did i figure wrong

It's just the cost of the last upgrade divided by 2

What if you have upgrade cost modifiers? Is it still half the price you paid?

Half of the full unmodified cost in KA, not sure about cc.

So if you have enough in modifiers (I'm sure there are three 30% off building costs) you could build a building and sell it for more then what you paid?

First, you sold a nightclub to get some quick cash for an upgrade?
Second, you didn't know how much you'd get for it in advance?
Third, you immediately BANKED your 30+ million instead of robbing for the extra million or so that you were short?

Wow. You're bad at this.

Builds aren't discounted

If this was possible, it might still not be a good idea because you'd be sinking the purchasing price of the building and also the opportunity cost of upgrade time.

Word of warning on this issue. If you are selling buildings to raise cash. Remember the cost to upgrade your haunted mansion was $0.00. So unless its still at level 1, you will get $0.00 for selling it.

Do you get robbed many times per day? When you do, are you losing a half million?

If the answer is no, take a beating or two, and lose a few robberies. Odds are it will be much cheaper than $3.2MM.

Depends on your real estate agent and their listing fees .

Yep! Bad part was you needed gold to buy it, although I believe it was only 150 or 250 gold. Every upgrade is free!
