Anyone Else Having Significant Delay Traveling to Rival Hoods?

I am literally taking two whole minutes sometimes three to get to one hood. Just started after last update. I'm on Android.

I was going to rob a few folks to pay for these pagoda upgrades but that is out of the question.

Has been happening to me for a long time, ever since I started playing on my Nexus 7. Never happens on my phone though.

Yeah for ages now. Its gets so bad I rob one person. Then go to rob second and it freezes.
so have to restart game.

I had this problem shortly after the buggy Pagoda dataset, but it's gotten much better since then.

I have always had this problem. On an Incredible and now on the S3. Sometimes it will go smoothly between hoods and sometimes it just freezes. I have wondered if it is freezing when I try to hit a iphone user. Just a thought.

Happens for me too on Android. Just log out and back in whenever it takes too long.

I'm on Android platform and I just tested your theory and no. It took me less than 20seconds to travel.

I'm currently on a WiFi connection. I don't know if that would make a difference.

Been having the same issue sporadically for a few weeks on my Android account. Will randomly hang here & there a few times a day.

I'm on android and having same issue after the last update. I've reinstalled about 10 times and done the data restart several times and now it takes about five minutes to go from one hood to the next. I've contacted gree about it and haven't heard a reply.

I have this problem when using 3G at work on my IPhone. Wifi is ok though.

I've been having the same problem for the last day or so. I have to exit because rival hoods refuse to load. VERY Frustrating ...

when I had my galaxy s3 I could barely ever get to a rival hood. And when I did, it was after a 10 min wait or so. After I upgraded to the Galaxy Note 2, its been smooth sailing ever since

It isn't Android. It is GREE's implementation in Android and the fact that there are 1000 different devices that it needs to work properly on, all with different hardware. I don't envy their Android devs, though I often hate them when I need to rob. Compare the number of decorations in someone's hood to load time. I had a rival get on my news feed and trying to load his hood crashed the game 70times easy. Normally I can load the first hood with just a slight lag. When I finally got it to load his hood he was just covered in trees. I see a definite correlation whenever I compare load time to decoration count. Maybe not causation, though. Only the guy who finally fixes it will know for sure.

glad to know its not just me. after my IPH and attack went up a bit, I quit going to rival hoods and just hit the attack button and take my chances. I decided to start robbing a bit to speed up the pagoda and upgrades and its basically not feasible on my S2. WIFI doesn't seem to make much difference for me. thanks for all the input

On both my Droid Razr Maxx HD and my Xyboard 10.1, I get lag. Pain in the balls really.

I've had this issue for a while now. really takes a lot away from the game. especially with the new hit list

I also have a Droid Razr Maxx and the load times range from 10 seconds to 5 minutes even while using wifi. It's incredibly difficult to find the right buildings for the hit-list assignments when it takes an hour to load 15 hoods.

Im on GS4 n im getting well pissed off. On wifi n 3g n H. Takes long or crashes n trying to do these list is just a piss take.

For the last two hours my phone freezes every couple times I click a rival building to rob. GREE, how did the game get worse over-night! WTH is wrong with you people? I can't even play the game if I might need my phone sometime in the next 10 minutes because I have to constantly pull the battery! What the hell are we paying you for?!?! ****, Tyrone, Get it together!

iOS. And I can't even get to rival's hood. All I get is "can't fight! The player is too beat up" message :(

Same problem here regarding slow travel times to rival hoods and boss event screens. Nearly couldn't complete a few bosses "almost timed out", because of lag after already spending gold for refills. (Android)

One of them I beat with about 10 seconds on the clock left when I would have had about 10 minutes left in non-laggy game play.

I start the game fresh in my hood and go to a rival. Once im done with that rival and i want to attack another i go to my hood then click the rivals button then refresh. After i finish with that rival I repeat the steps. Ive seen about 5 to 30 second lag consistantly using this method. Which is better then a few minutes or not at all. I bit annoying yes but it works. Hope it works for u guys.

Could everyone post what droid phone their using that are not having problems? Maybe Gree could tell us which phones work best . I'm lucky if I see 3 hoods in an hour. I noticed someone said the galaxy note 2 was doing well , will look in to that.

It happens more than I'd like to across 3 android devices, main reason why I didn't even bother really going for the LTQ. Finding a uncollected pawn shop was a pain in the ass that took me over half a day to find.

On my Nexus 7 the game has become nearly unplayable and its really starting to p*** me off. Its taking up to 5 minutes or more to travel to any hood, and I see no difference between large decorated hoods and small uncluttered hoods.
Alternatively, my HTC EVO 4G does not have this issue. Fix your s*** GREE!
