Probably...

Personally I would expect between 25 and life if you go ahead.

Would baffle me why someone would buy one. Takes all sorts though I guess.

well for instance, imagine the time/gold(if used) for someone to reach 300katt/300kdef and a 3.2m iph, and as we know some people like shortcuts, so buying the account would probably cost less.

Haha this is true. But I imagine the guy who actually pays for it should get it...

I feel it's just as 'legal' as people selling their World of Warcraft accounts. Websites just haven't started handling MW accounts yet.

Generally it is against the rules to do this in games, but people often do it and if discrete about it tend to get away with it. There is a lot of risk on the buyers part, as the "seller" could just take the money and run, the account may not be as advertised or the account could get banned after they've got it.

is there a place where it says that the act of selling accounts is ban-able?

Like the guy that paid 9 grand for a rogue with twin Warglaives of Azzinoth, the only set on public servers in the world at the time. One guy pocketed $9000, blizz found out and banned the account of the buyer, who basically ended up paying a lot of cash for a banned account

You should be able to sell it.. why not, the buyer would probably get a deal.. and why not get some of your money back youve put into the dumb game.. when i go out ill sell mine too.. like the 25 imobs accounts I sold.. and broke even with that dumb company. Id sell my account for half of what i put into it and call it a day.

The issue has been brought up before and CJ stated it was a clear Violation. So while i haven't read it in the ToS Gree has made their stance on the issue clear.

Now as far as any buying willing to pay money for this game really? I wouldn't pay a dime for the most powerful account in this game. Its no different than hacking to get that account in my eyes. (okay that might be a little extreme but if it's a violation then its still a violation...and it takes away all the fun from the game)

Trading accounts is against the TOS, and it will get the account banned.
