Hi,

I know it is on this forum somewhere but could someone please send he the link or the breakdown of the optimum amount of mafia you should have at your level?

Also is it a disadvantage having over the required amount during the war or was that a rumour?

It depends on what you're trying to achieve. If you're just after utilising maximum amount of weapons, then have 5 per level plus some spares so you are covered when you level up.

The IP payout is based on level differential, and the matchups are based on aggregate stats (well, somewhat). Mafia number is irrelevant.

Regarding the IP pay out - does it effect the amount of points you can concede?

I came across a lot of teams where the majority had 500 exactly so it got me wondering.

Nope.
IP hitting guys with 5000+ mafia was the same as for guys with 500 mafia, when they were the same level.
