My hood planner has been updated to include the new Chinese Pagoda building. This is a type A building that is well worth the cost even if you're not participating in the Pagoda Pandamonium event.

Level 2 pays out twice what Level 1 does. Type A should pay out three times as much for Level 2.

Thanks Itz. I'm a big fan of your spreadsheet and use it a lot. My local copy has modifications and new columns, so I'm wondering if there's a good way of "importing" just the new material - like copy such and such rows in some sheet etc. I am not entirely clear where the times/costs for a new building come from, or if you're putting them in by hand. It'd be nice to not need to move to a new document, especially if there is going to be one of these every month.

Under the readme tab of the hood planner, there are instructions on how to update with minimal effort from an older version.

Although, I don't think there are instructions in there for copying additional rows over, so you may still need details on that.

Hmm, so the table in Dart's thread (http://www.funzio.com/forum/showthread.php?53931-Pagoda-Pandamonium-update) must be off. My 1st Pagoda will be built tonight and I'll confirm the cost for Lvl 2 and update the sheet accordingly. BigMoney is correct that Type A lvl 2 is 3x the base income of Lvl 1.

Fairly easy since we're just adding one building:

Money Buildings tab - Copy/Paste the 10 rows for the Chinese Pagoda
My Hood tab - Insert the Chinese Pagoda into the building list on the right side
My Hood tab - Check the Data Validation of the cells in A10:AXX and ensure the Criteria field is set to 'My Hood'!I24:I103
Planning tab - Repeat Step 3 for Building column

25% syndicate + 10% tycoon is really a 37.5% bonus when it stacks.

Yeah,and I think GREE messed it up themselves on the new profile screen with the +atk/+def modifiers. Here's how the hood bonuses stack, which follows typical stacking bonus models found in other games:



Given Output Modifier = M, Stacked Modifier = SM

(1+M1) * (1+M2) ... (1+Mn) = SM + 1
(1+M1) * (1+M2) ... (1+Mn) - 1 = SM


So Tycoon + Syndicate building output bonuses comes out like this:



1.10 * 1.25 - 1 = 1.375 - 1 = 0.375 = 37.5%


When you're talking about Building Discounts, you have to flip the equation a bit because you're decreasing the cost of something, as opposed to increasing the output:



(1-M1) * (1-M2) ... (1-Mn) = 1 - SM
1 - (1-M1) * (1-M2) ... (1-Mn) = SM


So if you had all 3 of the items with 30% off building upgrades:



1 - 0.70 * 0.70 * 0.70 = 1 - 0.343 = 0.657 = 65.7%


Theoretically, the attack bonuses from Syndicates and War prizes should stack the same way that the building output bonuses do, but according to the new profile screen they're just being added up, which doesn't make sense. Adding the percentages up is not a stacking bonus, it's like saying the 5% attack on your new gun doesn't apply to the 10% attack you gained from the car you already had.

Yes. Both these things I have experienced thus far. Definitely tripled from level 1 @ $330,000 (or $330,001).. :confused:

Yep, they just changed it today...First collect on a level 10 Pagoda payout with a 35% bonus was 24,750,000.

Glory be...miracles happen every day. Still got shortchanged due to what should be showing for 3.6 update, but it was better than the 9mil advertised yesterday.

Version 3.6 update with the Limited Time Goal is showing the payout for me should be 30,937,300.

I finally was able to start my lvl 2 upgrade and yes, this is definitely a Type A building. Spreadsheet updated and bumped to version 1.9, please update once again or copy over Cells B142: D151, J142:J151, and L142:L151 from the updated sheet.

The first upgrade was only $25,000,000. That makes it close to the Pirate's Tavern in cost of purchase but pays much better and is only a 4 by 4 tile. Got rid of the Pizza Parlors and Deli's for these Pagodas because didn't know the size at first. Great buy for me with a payout $330mill initial and $909mill on the first upgrade (with bonuses). The second upgrade looks like $1.98mill, couldn't read the whole thing. Let's get some more of these! Great!

Thanks Daswi. The hood planner I keep up with most as I use it all the time. The loot sheet takes quite a bit longer time to update so it hasn't received any love. But it's starting to grow mold and I'm soon going to have a mob of people to whom I promised an update coming after me...

This cannot be accurate. I just upgraded the pagoda to level 3 for 41 million and the payout is 1,980,000 every 24 hours.
