Invalid Data after Downloading New Dataset on Android

Yep. Conveniently has to happen at the same time I collect on my big money buildings (haha, BigMoney's big money buildings). So those timers will be all messed up and probably robbed by the time they fix it three days from now.

I got the delete/re-install message, but I'm not even able to download Crime City from the Google Play store.

So, some people have been able to get the boss to show up. I just thought it wasn't working yet. Great, so not only is the new update pushing unnecessarily broken data, but I haven't been going after the boss because he just wouldn't appear.

On a side note. If you delete and reinstall you can do anything until you let it restart you or you restart. So the data you get from play store works, just not the update that crime city pushes.

Anyone with decreased stats or missing items will probably have things back to normal soon. One of my syn members had decreased stat after uninstall/reinstall earlier today and stats recovered within an hour.

restart.. smashed.
reinstall, play, download new data.... smashed again.

Basically, if you install from google play you CANNOT exit the game or it will fail again! :mad:

Confirmed, the gold buying function is working PERFECTLY as well as all the ads urging me to buy it. Gree would drop everything and sprint to the rescue if players couldn't send them any more money.

Dataset still bad for me....evrytime game starts with new datset im locked out from servers...no bancking robbing attacking etc....if i uninstall reinstall and refuse restart when it downloads new dataset i can play normally on old dataset until i have a crash...then i have to do it all again

You must uninstall and reinstall the app.

Go to your "store" and uninstall. You can then immediately re-install. Your data will not be deleted. You will have the pagoda quest and the beat-the-elite (already in progress). You shouldn't lose anything. (I didn't, even though it acted as flaky as all get out during the numerous aborts. )

Not true, mine started working without doing anything. Just a relog fixed it. Save yourself the time and effort and restart the game a time or two and you should be good. ;)

It's either you're not on WiFi, Gree servers, or your connection is slow.

I'd go for your second statement. Sometimes when i rob someone it takes over 5 minutes until i get the result whether it was a successful or not... Sometimes this game really proves your patience, in more than one way.

And yes, i'm running on wifi on a 100 MB line.

Ran into the same "invalid data" issue after downloading the new data patch last night. My crates also disappeared. Re-installed the program a few times and that really didn't do the trick. Most issues seemed to have worked themselves out (for me, at least) after a few hours.

Had this issue as well.. stats even showed zero.. about crapped my pants.. forced close the app a few times and still didnt work.. turned my phone off and rebooted.. everything was fine after that
