Hey there fellow knights. I've been meaning to write a guide about forum etiquette, amongst other topics, for a pretty long time but I've only recently found the time to write it. I may add more along the way. Hope this can be of help especially to those new players and forum members. Here goes :)

DON'TS:

- Don't make threads just to ask one question when there's already a thread dedicated to help people with questions. When you make a new thread with just one question, you'll probably have one or two replies before the thread dies out. It'll be better If you post it on the thread meant for questions, where others can look back for future reference.

- Don't hijack other player's thread and post "add me"s. it's just not nice. This is especially so for threads that were clearly meant for discussions, and not "add me"s.

- Don't change the Information on the spreadsheet unless you're sure your information's correct. If you're unsure, it's best not to change it. Many new players rely on the spreadsheet to judge how good their armors can be. Wrong information can sometimes result in new players crafting or upgrading bad armor

DOS:

- Do your best to look for the answers for any queries you might have, especially on guide threads. I know many of you hope to have your questions answered as soon as possible, but honestly, the best way is to go to the question thread and write your questions there. There are many experienced players more than willing to give you a helping hand.

- Do be specific when asking questions. Let's say you're asking for the opinions of other more experienced players about what to do at your level. Don't just say you're level 45 and expect us to know everything else about you too. We need to know what stage you're at (writhing cascades, misty marsh, etc), what armors you have, and what's your set up like in terms of buildings. It's easier for us to help you when you're more detailed. It's only then can we give you the advice best suited to your situation.

- Do send a pm to players you're interested in adding in the game. It can get annoying when higher leveled players are constantly having to go through 50 friend request just to find the ones we want to accept. Higher leveled players would really appreciate it if a pm is first sent.

-Do mention your level, best armors that you have (optional but encouraged) and your main knight's name when posting on the add me sub forum or pm-ing another forum member.

- Do be polite and never confrontational, whether it's asking a question or answering one, no one likes a person lacking manners. A happy forum is a better forum, after all, we're all here to help each other out.

- Do provide your help whenever you can, remember that you were once that level 1 knight that needed all the help he could get! Even the tiniest of advice could be a great help to someone new, never forget that. Also help out with statistic threads as and when you can. All these statistics help out in the long run.

With this I end my thread, hope you'll find it useful :)

Haha I tried to be as brief as possible, so that it wouldn't be too boring going through everything XD

Great job! If only such a summary thread existed when I first came to this forum (which wasn't too long ago actually). Now all the links to useful stuff is in one place :D

+1 and hope it gets stickied!
