Jazza,

Did you ever get any update to this? I am keen to understand if there is a bonus programme for UK too.

Thanks

Peter, there is. I'm in it - or was when it was the previous, far superior scheme. The way it's been changed I'm not inclined to spend a great deal anymore.

For people outside the US, vaults count as being worth $100 USD (discounted, of course, during sales).

So 5 full-priced vaults will get you into the $500 tier, or 7 20%-off vaults (or 6 and whatever gold amount normally sells for $25US).

Just to clarify completely. The scheme is now entirely about how much money you spend, and not how many vaults you might buy.

There's a similar - but separate - scheme in place for in-game cash purchases. The value of any bonus cash depends on your iph.

It took over 3 weeks for my reply (I sent it in the day the email about the new program was sent). And at the risk of overstating the case, I had some reasonable form as someone who needed to know the information. It's absurd.

Just had my responce ! Thaught it was a waste of time at first but the final few lines helped.

For reaching tiers, we'll be going by US dollars as that is how things are reported to us from Apple which handles all of the billing. A Vault is $100, a Vault at 20% off is $80 and 40% off is $60.

Here is what each package is counted as at regular price:

Bag = $5
Stash $10
Stockpile = $20
Bank = $50
Vault = $100

So if you go of 5 full price vaults which in usd = 500$ , our target should be £349.95 ( 5 full price uk vaults )

Hope this helps

Do you still have to write into gree to join the program or is the bonus automatic now for anyone who spends 500 us dollars in one month?

You have to send a ticket to enrol in the program. When you achieve it you'll get bonus gold at the "beginning" of the next month. I have no idea what the bonus for the $500 tier is, but if you search the forum for "bonus program" you'll find an answer.

If I sign up for the program and get $500 one month I will get my bonus the next month. But what if I skip a month?

Do I then lose the gold membership and have to sign up again?

I was thinking of doing it in a way that I can buy $500 a month, skip a month then buy again etc...

Does anyone know if you are allowed to do this?

Once you're signed up you're in indefinitely, whether or not you use it in a given month. So yes, you can hit every second month without having to sign up again.

$1000 - 15000 Gold/Gems
$2000 - 50000 Gold/Gems
$5000 - 125000 Gold/Gems plus one item specially modified for this program. It will be equivalent to a crate item.

I'm under the impression that UK players have to spend the following

£325 - 2500 Gold/Gems
£650 - 15000 Gold/Gems
£1300 - 50000 Gold/Gems
£3250 - 125000 Gold/Gems plus one item specially modified for this program. It will be equivalent to a crate item.
£6500 - 250000 gold plus one item specially modified for this program. It will be equivalent to an event item.

Obviously with the changing currency rates it's probably worth spending an extra £20 to make sure you qualify for the tier or use a live currency converter app during the months you wish to collect a bonus.

I'm thinking along the same lines as sister morphine because I won't be spending as much as I did under the old bonus program.

I'm thinking along the same lines as sister morphine because I won't be spending as much as I did under the old bonus program.I think its effectively 5 full price vaults etc. They dont seem to care much about currency and the higher US$ adjusted price isnt because Gree is screwing you but rather the 20% VAT vs the seperately billed relevant US sales tax.

If you factor this in both sides are paying about the same give or take depending on currency fluctuations but Gree actually takes home less from UK sales (70 pounds - VAT = 58.25 pounds or about $90 (vs $99) depending on currency (assumed 1.55-1). My home state sales tax would mean I would actually pay about $1.50 more than a UK citizen pays (at 1.55) with 20% VAT.
