Global Strike Force have come Top 10 in every event thus far and have no intention of losing that record; as always we will be placing in the Top 10 in Colombia and getting some great new toys to rampage across the MW server with.

Join us, get some superb prizes and have a lot of fun laying down the hurt to every other faction.

You'll need at least 150k in both attack and defence (you'll find that it will be pleasantly boosted by our faction boosts) and an ability to score an appropriate number of points for a Top 10 faction.

Don't go to an imitator or a group who "may" get a Top 10 placing - come to GSF to enjoy the best that Colombia has to offer. In terms of Modern War prizes and fun of course...

Bumpy bump - our troops are currently stationed in Aruba getting some R&R before the short trip on our sparkly new Pirate Imperial Super Battleships. Colombia is in for a surprise.

The GSF soldiers are taking a quick trip over to Belize for the day - they're currently at The Lazy Lizard on Caye Caulker enjoying the quintessential Caribbean experience of rum cocktails, azure seas, reggae music and other, more relaxing, pass-times.

Caye Chappel was always a favourite of mine. Nice clear sea, wonderful sea life, great sand and fantastic food.

The whistlestop tour of the Caribbean continues, the tree snipers have regained their natural habitat and are currently stationed in the Guatemalan jungle scoping out the temples of Tikal. They're ok though, we filled their hip flasks with rum.

Reports of a fleet of GSF FA Venom Fighters infringing on Colombian air space are as yet unconfirmed, but our man in the tree claims to have seen their deadly poison drifting through the sky.

Top 10 again - preliminary estimates place us at 5th in Colombia with a great team effort. The troops have climbed onto their amphibious AAVs and are en route to Mauritius for some pre-Madagascar R&R.

Since discovering that lychees are extensively grown in Madagascar, the team have become considerably more motivated to place highly in the next battle - our tree snipers are accustoming themselves to the new flora whilst sipping on lychee martinis.

A three percent alliance attack boost?! The snipers are grinning in wry disbelief, their attack will be up to six in no time. Their little camouflaged faces are beaming - that could be the lychee martinis though?

Nursing massive hangovers, the tree snipers are out paddling their kayaks and trying to catch a tan.

In other news, an extended foray into the Gulf of Aden (sans tree snipers) led to the sinking of 17 Somalian pirate ships, they claim to have never heard of a united nation of pirates so one can only assume that they are not affiliated with Modern War's PUN.

Thanks for your interest everyone - the tree snipers were asked to vote and came out with a resounding "naaaargh" - but they do spend two and a half weeks between battles getting drunk. Their opinion is always considered though, and they voted against you sadly.

Following on from their vote, the aforementioned snipers decided to take a little day trip out to Lesotho; quickly realising that it isn't really a tourist hot spot they jumped the border, prevented 17 car jackings, and had a few bevvies with the every friendly locals.

After an impromptu safari caused by a lion coming a little too close to Dave the tree sniper's rum stash, the tree snipers, resplendent in fresh feline furs, have ventured north to Tanzania to take on Kilimanjaro. Being a bunch of daring chaps and chapettes, who are very keen to get back to the bar, they decided to use this as a fitness test and will be ascending and descending in one weekend. As they are from GSF, they are well provisioned with rum:

One rum fuelled long weekend later the bleary-eyed snipers are back in Madagascar (and GSF members are back working); suggestions of a week long detox were considered and promptly dismissed with Amphibious AAVs taken out on a joy ride instead.

Reports of a mysterious chocolate submarine in the vicinity have been shown to be false, although a chocolate pool was discovered - the warm waters of the Indian Ocean may have been culpable.

Oh yes, I forgot to mention - GSF are looking for premium candidates to join them in their Top 10 faction; PM me if interested.
