Gree, can you charge us double price and deliver only half the gold and cash, thanks!

I don't always drink whiskey, but when I do I pay more for less all night long.

Okay, I'm full of it, I always drink whiskey ;)

Enjoy the bump,
Mindbo

PS what I'd really like to see is a Syndicate Gold Bonus, add up all our members gold spend just during the event and cut a gold bonus to the Leader of the syndicate that they can disperse anyway they see fit, now that would pretty cool, start off with a minimum of $10,000-$15,000 team spend. DO IT GREE... DO IT! also as leader, I would gladly accept a bottle of whiskey, either way.

BUMPbut they are a business. Why put an item on sale when it's selling fine without it. It's like the car lot...
F150s are selling hot, they aren't going to discount much. Where as if a focus isn't selling well, Ford will add ectra rebates the next month to make it more inticing...

why only 40% off .. i'd say go 80% off for a day or two and see the sales rising up.

I sold a software product last year priced at around $40 per license. I was making around 2k a month on that particular product. The merchant decided to go 75% off for a month. That particular month I made over 5k and imagine how much the merchant made? A LOT more than what they were making earlier. People buy more when the prices are dropped. Gree should try this "for just one day" and see the difference. Another benefit of dropping the prices that low would be, people will be thankful to Gree and will be glued back to the game in a hope to see the 80% off price again. JMO. If I hadn't personally experienced, I wouldn't suggest this sort of sale. anyway, good luck with the 40% off if gree allows it for a day or two before the wars begin.

Big gold sales entice players like myself, who rarely buy, to get involved. So it prob is worth at least having sales every 2 wks instead of once a month.

I'll take a properly working equitable gold program over any gold sale whatsoever.

I feel you on the "properly working" part, but what do you mean by equitable?

Probably overstating the case, but I was referring to the fact that they increased the price and decreased the rewards (well, technically they haven't actually announced the rewards. "Please give me $10k and I'll give you a mystery prize" is the current stated top tier reward).

And a side-rant on the timeliness: Given that I usually got my bonus in the first week of the month, it's certainly refreshing having the drama of not knowing whether I'll get what I paid for in time for when I need it.
