Her folks I'm with iBOB and we placed 247 in Greenland, 53 Egypt, 63 China, and 41-42ish in Ireland. As factions become more successful, more people become interested. I was asked by a player how to get into one of those high ranked factions. So here is what I told him:
If you are a high level player (hlp) with good stats of something's me 80,000 or better, you simply have to be active. If you have a high level but low stats, you won't get in. That's because the greater the difference between levels of the attacker and defender can determine how many world domination (wd) points can be scored per hit. So if I'm a level 70 and I attack a level 150 and win, the points are greater than if I beat a level 50.
But if you are a low level player(LLP), you need to focus on a faction comparable to your stats. Because the higher the rank of the faction, the tougher the competition. Which means most of the time you can't find any targets to attack other than to be a defense leader killer with a power attack or a wall donkey taking down walls. Neither of these jobs score big points. So I suggest looking at factions asking for players that fit your stats.
Also the higher the faction, the more likely they use gold. If you won't/don't use gold at the upper levels, you won't be in a faction up there. I support free players but I really appreciate the players who help me reach my goal with gold. Also try networking. I know Archer, HGF68, Durt, Maximus, and several others from other factions. We fight them too. Those are the most fun. But we chat and exchange help, ideas, information, and referrals. So we have all started out in a low ranked faction. But regardless, if you want to be in a top 100 or higher, be ready to go sleepless in wars and prove you belong. Best wishes everyone.
If you have any questions, hit me up. I may not know the answer but there are good people on the forums that offer sound advice.
Lastly I want to congratulate DevilDog, Wiley, and Invitus on their recent promotion to officers.
