WP miscalculated

Am a LPP (73), with consistent A/D Stats,
b4 this war, winning against players 50 levels more than mine I used to score 400 wp, now even with player lvl 180 I score 200 wp only... Of course their wall is down... so something has changed?

Same with me. I'm LV69 and was earning in average 313pt against a player LV212 earlier today.

Even people with much higher levels in my faction were scoring 400+ against that player!

That and my level 59 is hitting people at 160-180 with the wall up and same person at 225-250 with the wall down. Correct me if I am wrong but wall down means twice the points right. Math seems slightly off there.

it also has to do with the relativity of their defense to your attack.

If your attack is significantly higher, you won't get any points.

Its a risk and reward type system where if you are hitting a player very near your stats (above your level) and winning, you will receive more WD points than if that same player had a much lower defense than your attack.

I believe it also has something to do with each of the players you are attacking's percentile in their tier. If they are in the top 25% of their tier in terms of defense, you receive more points. (this is only a theory on this part)

I attached a player lvl.176 four times. I scored 246, 370, 430, 390 and all over the duels my stats shifted by 115k to 140k and for him by 60k to 75k and the hight score I got was with his stats 75k and mine 132k...
If some one can give any reasonable explanetion to this... !

This is absolutely the right point, in normal attack I will get the same figure when attacking but in WD events it will jump between say 150 and 400 for the same person....

This change was done to satisfy the HLP complaints that LLPs scoring was skewed in their favour. I also like the way you can lose a fight when they have considerably less defense than your attack, not. It's a proper lottery now :)

I believe that if a LPP has remarkable stats, when he wins against HPPs, he should score high points.... all this random is killing the game

My LLP with good stats was constantly getting 350+ points vs level 150+ players but today that changed. I thought it was becuase GREE tweaked the algo to lowerthe points to make people spend more gold on catching up or maintaining their lead. It's all about the benjamins.
