Abandon game

I have seen many accounts with abandon kingdom and no longer playing the game.
Doesn't KA allow players to deactivate their account if away long time.
Or even an option to completely delete their account off the game.
I guess that way Gree can do some house keeping and clear the cobwebs.

No such option exists, even deleting the game will not affect the account. Besides if I were to abandon the game why would I care what happens, I'm not playing anymore. Also CREE is too busy ignoring our tickets to actually want to clean up any part of the game.

GREE cannot delete them. Maybe, some players just want to stop playing for a while, but when the come back, they don't want to rebuild everything. I think GREE try to hide those abandon kingdoms from the battle list. However, a recent battle list changes bring some of them back to the list.
