I as well as many others are over the lack of effort by GREE to deal with the issues we the customers have voiced.
So now it's time we speak publicly about this as we the consumers have a right.
Nothing ever gets done through support, what proves that is the generic msg you often get in reply to an issue an the generic msg has now reference or relationship to your issue.
GREE, you sit idle and do nothing. Honest people who pay a lot of money on this 'platform if entertainment' see being banned because they have had enough and so the are going to go public with these issue because you refuse to get off your butts and do something about it.
We are all extremely disappointed with your efforts and lack there of customer support.
So we will hit you where it hurts... Right in your pocket.
You thing that we can't voice our opinions and grievances? You make rules to prevent us doing that here because you don't want players finding out the truth.... Well the truth is out there now.
We have all waited long enough for you to act on the issues countless players have raised... Yet you do nothing. Is that because you are the very ones who are planting these players in re game to force us to spend more to stay ahead? Whatever it is, you have a duty as a business to provide an honest platform along with customer support... Both of these you provide but are empty shells once a customer finds out the truth.
So go ahead, be foolish... Make martyrs of us all for posting the truth. Ban me as everyone else who speaks the truth. You say we accuse players if hacking when most if the time thy are innocent... I say your blinded by your deluded and lust for GREEed.
Blatant hackers, obvious to anyone who's player for long enough yet you don't do anything about it points to one thing...a corrupt company looking at making money off people looking for entertainment.
ENOUGH IS ENOUGH...NIW IS THE TIME WE WILL STAND UP AND SPEAK WITH THE ONLY THING THAT MAY GET YOU TO LISTEN AND ACT... OUR MONEY!
Ban me and everyone else that speaks out and you simply make us martyrs.
You have a very short amount if time to deal with this before we take it to the next level.

This is possibly my last wee post or thread so ill just say goodbye now while I can.
Don't ever stop speaking out people... You have rights as a consumer and if a company denies you of those rights there is a serious issue...get off the boat.
Ill miss the community, you guys all make the game what it is...if only this game was in the hands of a decent gaming company.
All the best in life everyone...entertainment is great but don't let t take away from the important things in life. ;)

I agree. DON'T spend money if you aren't happy.
btw, as a side note, will FUN now be known as BUN? (Banned United Nation)

No disrespect to FUN (or anyone that was recently banned) at all, but this was funny as hell!

I am sorry I haven't contributed to the forums, but now that several of our members (Murder of Crows) have been banned from the forums for speaking out against the hackers and hacker guilds, I feel compelled to start. Hammer you speak the truth. The only way things will change is if the top legitimate guilds revolt and not participate. Our guild has decided to buy zero gems from Gree until the hacking issues are satisfactorily resolved. I encourage others to join.
I have played in other games where weekly bans were posted. This simple measure would alleviate a large amount of stress amongst the legitimate players and let them know Gree is actively taking steps to weed out the few illegitimate players that are ruining the FUN :-) for everyone.

With the change to the bonus program that is supposedly to benefit us, by forcing us to spend more to reach the tier limits, and now banning many respectable forum members for voicing their opinion about the increasing frequency of hackers in this game, I think many members are at the tipping point. We need to see some serious action by gree to clean up the game

You have my full support. But I must say that no one can win this conflict. The most probable outcomes are: we all leave the game and both gree and we players loose. Or gree turns the switch and simply stops the game, they re-wind and make a new game similar to this one. Either way we both lose in some way.

Or... They could post a sticky with banned accounts? Even a number and not a name like this:
Banned accounts as of 4/24/2014 : 0(kidding) 344532. And growing.
It's not like you need to respect hackers rights, I don't see why you can't post their names. I can see why you wouldn't post legitimate players, but I could just check the sticky and see their name not on the list? I, at least, would be satisfied. Many other games, which are based in the US with its stricter privacy laws, regularly list banned and infracted members. Hackers do not have rights here.. Even the supposed 1% of them.
Name the thread : "The Wall of Shame". Or "The Banhammer".
We want to see the results, or we won't believe you are doing anything. We've given your company months to sort this out. We don't trust you any more. It's the same as the old invisible boosts. A list, which would not take much effort or any money to put together. Add a name as it gets banned. Make it eleventy pages long, that's one thread I wouldn't mind reading every single page of. You could even add the reason why they were banned. Like : honor hack (cough).
People's privacy is not a good enough excuse now that you've released guilds. And you are really upsetting the forum by picking and choosing which rules you want to enforce. Lets try enforcing the in-game rules before we enforce the forum rules, maybe? I suspect if you did that you wouldn't be nearly as "overworked."
We want to see the results, or we won't believe you are doing anything.
We are not going to post about specific actions taken in regards to other players' accounts.

Okay, I understand that's your policy. I'm trying to be helpful here, and I understand you have a lot of conflicting interests and requirements to meet. But. We also deserve more than we have gotten as a community. Some form of transparency, even if its just the McDonald's counter for accounts suspended with absolutely no identifying information. Something that lets us know you guys are in fact doing something about this problem that is huge, from our perspective. Something that I can check every day and go, look, another hacker gone, and this game that I love is just a little bit better. Taking words on faith lasted for about six months. We need to see something. Anything.
Edit: I'm editing this in the hope that you won't ban me for trying to suggest solutions. I understand that I probably can't see it from all angles, but I'm really trying to figure out a solution before this degenerates any further. I've been part of this community for a very long time and I'm hating the way it's gone and I'm trying to make it better.

Okay, there is some misunderstanding here. No one is getting banned for posting an opinion on hacking or cheating, especially not "this sucks" because that is generally the sentiment the world over. But I have asked people specifically to stop posting "This guy is hacking!" threads on the forums, I've given my reasons for doing so. This is not the place to report potential cheaters. I realize that those two things (the frustration and the reports) go hand in hand so it looks like I'm trying to shut down discussion. That's not the case. If we banned everyone who was expressing frustration with some aspect of the game just because we didn't want people talking about it, well, there would be a lot more people banned. We can stop banning people for posting the reports out of frustration, but I WILL still need to shut those posts down sometimes when they turn into a dogpile or a flame pit and people need to be understanding of that.
I also need people to stick by the other rules as well, like not posting a bunch of threads demanding to know why someone was banned or why a thread was removed, or spamming/harassing the admins, or intentionally trolling to rile other people up.
I appreciate that you and some of the others try to keep it constructive, and I understand that frustrations get to a point sometimes when that isn't possible. This particular topic is riddled with things (like the privacy concerns) which make engagement difficult, particularly in a group way. Which, if I can be honest for a moment, is just as frustrating from this side of things.
In the interest of trying to bridge some of that gap, how about this:
-We recently fixed an ancient bug that was the basis of 80% of the exploits that we have seen in KA, CC or MW. A lot of what people are reporting right now falls under that. You're seeing people who either are already banned, or are about to be banned.
-We have a full-time person who investigates reports now, which is a lot more effective than a haphazard approach, but means there is a backlog.
- http://www.funzio.com/forum/showthread.php?51341-Gree-may-be-turning-the-corner Yeah, I realize that it is not KA, but I'm pointing it out as it is pertinent to the discussion.
And for all it feels like I'm fobbing people off sometimes by saying "report it to support" )not just for potential hacks but others things), that is still the best way to get something looked at. That's why we ask people to do it.

I think what people are looking for is a little more transparency. There is a general sentiment right now that reported issues (missing IAP, hacking, etc) go unaddressed and as a result there is public outcry due to frustration.

No, this is perfect. Now we just need you to do nothing by post stuff like this on the forums and I think this will die back down. Thanks.
Also, just one thing I failed to mention, but I need to say it anyway. There needs to be some kind of fast track to support during guild events. The money being spent is too ludicrous to do anything otherwise. Any kind of shady activity in the top ten just destroys the event. Maybe a hotline 1-800-BANThEmNoW ? Lol. If someone is hacking during normal play, it's only a matter of gold, but those events need to be treated with more care.
It's like the Black Sox, man. You can't cheat in the guild wars, and if someone gets banned, they can't be showing on the leader boards. I understand if you can't get them off the rivals list for a few days or whatever, but they need to come off the boards ASAP.
And thank you for the response, it's appreciated.

Have you ever heard about the "rule of law"?
Those few banned people are only "respectable" in the eyes of a small group of people on this forum. Gree treats all forumites as equals, and for good measure too. Can't let certain people break rules and get away with it just because they're "respectable" can we?

I think more than anything the issue is lack of communication.

I understand your efforts and appreciate them, Like our Guild.
But nobody likes us to cheat and less understand that those who deceive us do so with impunity. There are people all over the world, students and workers in my Guild.
We were buyers of gems, some making many efforts. When you discover that you take away your family time and money to compete with players that make traps, you have a feeling of rage.
I believe that the only way to solve esto is to do justice. If you're not righteous, you win respect or understanding in the decision-making and as they say, we go towards the end of the game
Thank you and good luck

It's been said before and I'll say it again. Most of these "dogpile" threads can be cut off at the knees with better communication. There are LOTS of problems with these games and whereas it's understandable that it may take time to fix them if the players affected don't see progress then tempers rise and the forum gets filled with spittle-fueled rants.
Please use the announcement forums to state where you are with bugs/hackers etc. Preempt the complaints, otherwise you're (CJ) just fire-fighting, and that must be a pretty dispiriting task most of the time

It is clear that these children are able to create a good product, a very addictive game. But they are unable to manage the economic performance of the product. They are amateur children, must hire professionals, but they should focus only on create and allow development to people qualified

You are lying through your teeth when you say this takes time to fix. I could fix this in 20 hours of diligent work on the backend. Probably less if I had a few liters of mtn dew and an office on N. Berry St. One full time monkey slaving over six peoples' worth of work.

Ian McGrath;723148']My guild leader was...well he is unable to post to the forum for the second time in two days. I'm wish Gree would spend as much time in game dealing with "certain individuals" as they spend with people on the forum.
Yeah - this is definitely less than the 24 hours that CJ suggested was the turn around time to ban a hacker off a ticket's report.

Apparently, Gree is not a democratic society.
I should not have to warn people about this, but it is not okay to post the personal or contact information for other individuals with the intent that those individuals be harassed to any end. Doing this will result in a permanent ban from the forums.
