ha. I saw it after pendragon attacked me and didn't put two and two together until you noted it. Going to take 150k for 410 on the first upgrade.

That is the first one, MW went from 10m to 90m so can expect it too be at least 3M here.

The former MW vault cap was 10 million and they increased 10x to 100 million. In true GREE fashion of doing everything over the top that puts our new vault cap at a possible 3.3 million.

We don't actually know how high it goes because no one has told us or spent the gems yet. In MW it was 10x as high, so by that logic it will go to 3.3m.

And who cares about the vault increase? Easily fixed with another unit building, e.g. the Temple of Greed. Level 10 unlocks the Golden Calf Worshipper. 10000000000000000000 gold. Now that would be a run! :D

The vault in Modern War increased from 10 million to 90 million (not 100 million as has been stated and repeated here). So, to be accurate, it was increased 9 times over. Still low enough that many new LE buildings and upgrades to those building in MW will have you go over-vault. In fact, I've been taking people's overvault like candy this week as people did the LTG requiring they upgrade their limited edition building. On the other hand, in MW, there's no equivalent cost to the unit buildings. Some upgrades to boosts might be 30-40 million. I still think the KA unit building upgrade costs are wildly higher on scale and the vault is unlikely to cover the 8, 9, 10 level costs. Manors, unit buildings, etc. Keep calm and carry on.

This game never involved any "skill". I would go as far as to say this game never involved any "strategy" either. Instead this game involves methodology (as opposed to strategy) and some luck. And of course, spending money helps tremendously too.

Zeno, after they increased the vault in MW they started another kind of "event" where they would release a new money building for about a month or two, and it would cost, in KA terms, 2 or 3 million gold to build it, and lol at upgrading it, except it would give like 1k IPH at level 1. So well worth it if you could afford it. Then they wised up more and attached an "LTQ" to the process where it's a ten step quest chain, and they give you a month to finish it, one step for each level of the building. Plenty of overvault to go around. :)

Mate. By your logic, nothing would be "necessary" in this game. You could enter the fight with a bunch of foot soldiers and the worst thing to happen is a loss. Whether you win or lose, you get the same number of pixels to look at, just positioned in a different arrangement.

If you haven't noticed yet, this game is all about the subjective feeling. You make a big army so you feel mighty. Manors make me feel rich. So I build Manors and upgrade them. Players do whatever they do to earn whatever pleasures they seek. Nothing in this game is really "necessary".

Using available data and geometric progression, it seems that each upgrade will add 80k to the vault. If the top value is 1.130 million that's 10 additional upgrades at 7 days each. Doesn't seem that guild time and cost upgrades are helping the vault upgrade, but not certain on that one.

I have only found 2 or 3 players massive overvault in the last weeks. With the vault upgrade it almost be impossible to find victims.
But on the other hand people now can upgrade their money buildings to a higher level, so raiding may become more profitable...

True. But the confirmed vault numbers of 330k, 410K, 490K and 650K are all 250 + X* 80K. I tend to always believe Winstrol so 1.13 million also follows that formula. I am comfortable that they are constant at this point.

I can only speak as an unskilled player that plays this game after CC and MW, and won't spend gold on it. I had pretty much hit the wall. people with all sorts of newly founds stats were killing me, and getting a BD upgrade would no longer possible. The fact that I may be able to vault my way to it is what is keeping me around. Every time I would go over vault, it was all gone within hours. That's not very fun.

I believe gree is aiming for the 100,000 that spend $20. rather than the 1000 that spend $2000. From a business standpoint it makes more sense. My girls are thrilled at the vault upgrades.

And yet most of their actions contradict this, the latest LTQ or the insane stat inflation rate for instance. I maintain thoughts with the majority, that vault increasing is (without any balancing of course which there could be yet to come) going to help kill the fun and therefore the game.
