Gold up to 9th & stuck for awhile & use cash open on the 10th. I did that Mcdoc strategy a popular thread in the MW Faqs. Just check it out cause i missed the last two collect 10 cause i stay free at that time. Free or cash opens has a low percent chance on winning the collect 10 unit...

I am currently on 8. I used all cash opens up to 6 then started using gold to open every hour mixed in with a few resets. I got crap after every reset so far.

It always seems easy to get the first 5-6 during these events with only cash, which is why I switched to gold after that. Due to missing the first few hours of the event I am trying this method. Hopefully it works out. I will post after I receive number 10. Hopefully :)

That strat is an urban legend. For every person who succeed lots lose. And since its a gold heavy strat up front its gonna result in a bunch of opens on average just like a non reset strategy would.

That being said it does seem like first 24 hrs is ripe. But you have to ask yourself if this is perception thing since boxes 1-8 have decent drop rates if you open them with gold probably giving the perception that the first hrs are great. I def try to open every hr but hold resets till later or not at all. I have won almost all of the last 3 10 box events in KA/CC/MW until this week in CC and for far less than his strat probably costs.... At 6 after a day with cash only so far (first time waited this long) so I guess I shall see.

I basically use a variant of the Biff comment above normally. My 9 in 14 was 6/6 cash and then 7/8 cash and finally all gold thereafter. You can do the math, 73 resets. Got the items in the same damn order several times so not convinced the random number generator was ever gonna spit out #10 as computers are not really random after you seed them.

Well, its like in LE set Common has 65% chance to get, Uncommon is 25%, & Rare has 10% chance. In collect 10 has different percent deal in chances. In one of the thread i read awhile back. 1 to 7 parts has a high percent chance to get & when you reach 8 to 9 has a 35 to 50% rate on getting it. And #10 is a very rare unit & you have only 2% chance to get it & some BIG LUCK in your back.

I remember that Aerial Bin event back in the days when that Dragon Viper was the 10th unit. I did the Mcdoc strategy up to the 9th part for the first couple hours, & did cash option the rest of the way for 5 days & ended up not getting it...

Again, my method involves opening your first 6-8 with cash then switching to gold.My method experience used to be same with almost same results. Did it in last CC and ended up spending 2910 gold, not getting it, and saying never again. Going all cash now. Nothing in these box events worth that much. Well if I got some health regen I would have to consider it again, only thing that would make me spend in any game any more (esp. CC and KA where regen not that prevalent).

I was doing Operation Wolf diligently and as of now I have accumulated a total of 204 locked boxes just by doing those missions...I think thats a dead give away that u might need that many boxes to get the final few chips ...at least Gree is trying to encourage us this time to buy more gold to open all them boxes lol

Actually I would also like to make a suggestion here...if we were to open those boxes using 15 gold...if we dont get the chip..can we get at least 15 gold worth of merchandise ... indestructible would be nice....or 15 gold equivalent in cash? Is that too much to ask? I dont need some lame dragon soldier...the prize in Operation Wolf is definately way better!

Just got the tenth without ever using gold. I got nine within the first twenty chests, then went cold for about thirty boxes in a row, then got lucky. This is the first time I got the grand prize, always was stuck one short.

Got 6 chips then used 240 gold on resets and opens that put me up to 8 with 4 days to go a day passed then nothing then back to back 9 and then 10 on cash. I figure the extra +1 regen will help w/ the ltq.

Wow! I just got the 10th chip! That's only the second one of these events I've actually made it to 10 on. I used gold on that first one I won. I'm actually very surprised because I didn't use any gold at all on this one just the medium chance every time. The +1 on the energy is even working correctly. I guess it is possible without gold. Just lucky I guess but I will take it.
