Conquest Points

Are conquest points completely random? I can defeat ppl 65 lvls above me and get anywhere from 174 to 424 points.

I'm beginning to think so, there is no logical algorithm that can give such a wide range surely, same person giving off ~200 points one attack and then ~420+ next attack? No variable have changed on the 2 players, surely the random element must be huge?

When you use a mega hit in battle do you get 50% more coins from that person once or for the rest of the hour battle. I'm so confused on how that works. Thanks for your help!!

I think scores overall are down for me this event. It may have so something to do w gaining a couple of levels and may e from inflation....
