Opening boxes?

Think I have tried to open 15 or so boxes with no luck. Anyone else having luck with the boxes? Also is there a established % difference between the free and paid, and how is that worked out.

I opened 2 of my first 3 with the 'Free' option

I think its all random, you must just have bad luck so far

I HAVE read on here that the percentage chance of opening a box by any method decreases the more boxes you have already opened (and gained the mission item).

Also, while Gold guarantees opening a box, it does NOT guarantee getting the item you want.

You could be at 9/10 and use Gold and get something like 1 extra ally.

Been trying that and continuously do that after normal energy/stamina refill. My luck is that bad. :(

hoho.... you need to have high capacity stamina and/or energy. I personally use PVP, which requires stamina. It seems to drop more safes than missions. I used to your same problem until I raised my stamina over 20+. Sometimes it takes over 10 hits on a rival to get a safe and sometimes you get 2 safes in a row. Just depends.

Thanks. I dont hv as much point, but i tried both attack n mission, and again after each refill and still no box and now i m a few more points to level up. Searching rival is another issue... Obviously this event is not for me.

No matter what I try these crates won't open this round. Gree needs to fix the algorithm. Just retarded to have 100s of these crates and can't get them to open and the chip drop rate for me is .0156% with gold and cash.

I have been playing this game for over a year....have never gotten the 10th item...ive tried gold and cash...i personally believe these events have a pre-determined amount of winners and when the game reaches that number they stop giving out the 10th item

got 150 of the damn safes but stuck on 7 chips since the first day. I think the secret is to get all 10 chips the first day. For each day after, the chances of an open safe giving you a chip diminishes rapidly.

Hey, don't give up. If you believe the toolkit, your chance is less than 10% for the tenth, but not rigged. I went 0 for 30 before the tenth. Always went for cash to increase the odds, never gold.

Nothing gets passed you! Of course it is rigged to get you to spend gold but that does not mean that some players get the 10th unit for free by just using free/cash opens. It is all in the algorithms and probabilities. Some players really want the +1 energy, so they are prepared to spend in order to get it. In the end it is your choice what you spend your hard earned cash on.

Instead of just saying "just got the 10th chip" (we congratulate you as we are sure you are very happy) can you please give further information. that is what this thread is trying to enquire. for example:
- Did you use gold or free play?
- How much gold?
- Was there a hold up on any particular number chip (example - im stuck on 7. is 8,9 10 quicker)?
- whats your level?

I tend to always get hung up on number 8 and 9 while opening every hour with in game cash only. I usually get to 8 or 9 in about 30 hours then stagnate. I was lucky enough to get ten just once about 6 or 7 months ago. Of course the unit stats back then were only 220/180 for the tenth reward prize. I thought I was living large that day, but now it is no longer even in my top 45 units with the new LTQs and stat inflation units in general.

In my opinion it's worth it. Any unit with a bonus attached to it is worth it. In the future if you end up with enough units with say +1 energy then you could cut that down even more. This isn't the first time a +1 energy has been available in the game. So I like to get as many units with a bonus attached to it, they stack up, so I stock up!

I got 9 chips in the first 24 hours and in over 5 days nothing am I to believe this is just bad luck? BS This has happend more than once and this might be the straw that breaks the Psyco's back...I lose units 9 out of 10 times on attacks and raids to people with less than half my strengh and they rarely lose any...I cant boost of my stats cuz I lose to many units trying to make money...I lose gold my list is all screwed up...If I had all my att.and def. stats back I would be in not bad shape..But im better off talking to my coffee table than sending a email to Gree D!! Final update for me. After zero openings the first day, I figured would be lucky to get 7 or 9. It was looking pretty grim being stuck at 8 all day yesterday, then hit 9 before bed and by some miracle actually hit 10 this morning.

Weird, with the openings as they were but happy I got that extra bonus unit.
