Attack Limits

So I attacked some guy back off my news this morning and found I was able to give him 19 or 20 hits, rather than the normal 10.

Repeated this just now and same result; all others are still only giving 10 hits before "Too beaten up" appears.

Has anybody experienced similar, and any theories?

It's level based.
An extra 2 attacks for every 10 levels above 200, maxing at 20.

Hmm, I'm level 156. That had crossed my mind, but wouldn't explain why it's limited to just this one guy that I know of

Yeah I had that too, once. Didn't count but pretty unloaded 20+ bullets on em. Probably a glitch.

How do robs affect the number of times you can attack someone? I've been mercilessly stalking this guy with a high level Nightclub, but now I'm not allowed to attack him at all (even though it's been days since I've last attacked him).

others are beating him too, robs and attacks aren't linked

I have occasionally had this happen when hitting off my newsfeed. Never counted but know it must have been 15 plus hits.

I hit someone 16-18 times the other day and im in the 130's!!! He was same level too!
