I just noticed Archie Bollocks in my goal list (awesome name, BTW, GREE!), LOL. No splash screen or anything yet, but I have never seen it pop into the goal list before the event begins. Have I just missed it before?

its up to your stats to tell your chance. Beat him four time already with the free option.
About triggering event do some low job than attack someone or rob him. Its the way I trigger him, seem to appear on a number of action taken. I can be wrong also.

I can't really say some will say 7k-9k attack , but geez I got hard time doing bean town mike without gold use at this amount of attack( gold use for first aid kit). I've try doing it by waiting but I plainly fail lol. Good luck whatever you do, try to do your best.

If you follow Billionaire's Boss guide (look for it in this forum), you can get up to 13 hits for free on each boss. If you are under level 25, the top boss has 110,000 hit points, so you need to be at almost 8500 attack by the time you get to the last boss without gold.

If you are using gold, you can pay for the extra hits, and get there before your attack is that high.

Just wait 3 minutes before you rob or attack again after you beat the boss. Should spawn on first hit every time.

I got so far 1 gun(uncommon),1 gun(rare), 5 armor ( common),3 armor (uncommon), 1 armor (rare) 3 melee(common) and 4 explosive (common)

No. You can continue beating as many bosses as you want, but the main prize is only ever awarded once, at level 40.

Are you level 26 or higher? If so, then the figure is no longer 8500 but some other amount.

For level 100+ the figure is around 825k. I can't recall the others because they are irrelevant to me. Check Bill's thread.

Could be worse. In MW, tier 4 is actually worse than tier 5.

I love it how gree can have 2 events running at one time, in a single app. But they can't get back to me as to why I didn't receive my bonuses last battles!

I tried using gold last boss and you have to spend a fortune!! I can get around 15 wins for free, that's it, good bonuses though!! ;)

But do you need the (for example) 67,693 attack IN the boss battle? Or is that the amount of attack needed as attack stat? Because my attack stat is around 70k, but when I attack the boss with the cash (not gold) option, I only attack with 52k... WHY!??!

That's what you need as a raw attack (ie, what you use in the battle).

If you can finish the boss off without having to use health packs inefficiently (ie, if you can do boss 40 with 7-8 health packs), then yes.
Either Bill's boss thread or Killshot's (?) boss calculator will give you the info you need on whether you are at this point.

That needs to be your base stat without syndicate bonuses. epic boss events don't count your syn bonuses. I'm not sure if any other attack bonuses count or not . Could someone let me know?

It's (attack skill points x 10) + ( base attack stats) = your damage to the boss per hit.

Defeated Archie 30 times so far. Dumped 300 gold at it. Though a lot of that was me just being impatient. I'll have all day Saturday to hit 40 and use my gold wisely.

I suggested for the keycase event to Tzora to uninstall/reinstall the game and its have worked for him/her(?) so try it out and see what happens, a newly downloaded app are often up-to-date.

Kid - thank you for the suggestion, it works perfectly once again. I was afraid to uninstall/reinstall for fear of losing my data, but it worked seamlessly. Thanks to you and others for the help. Game even seems to load faster with less hesitation as well.

Nop you don't have any risk to uninstall/reinstall CC . If the phone ask you if you want to erase the save just tap no. Go check your version and look if its tell you "Updating..." If so apply the same troubleshooting I've suggested earlier to Smash.

I have downloaded latest version but on my mobile it shows latest version date as 20131504. When I again tried to download latest version from google play, it showed a message as you already have latest version.

Does the task appear in your "quest" journal? if yes send a ticket to gree but it means you loose any possibility to participate to the boss event. If no its the app that is still doing trouble. Specially with the auto updating service of android seem to be buggy often(No offense to you Android user).

Thanks read your post and deleted a load of the new apps i downloaded yesterday then did a uninstall/reinstall and it now the boss can trigger. Dont know if it was a conflict or just 4th time lucky but either way very thankful for advice! :)

Use the table gived at the first page and use your cash attack with the 13 free hit, this will give you the amount of life left for the boss. Than add three strike hit value, this will give you a attack amount per health pack. Than divide the amount of boss life left after the 13 free-hit with the amount of damage you deal per health pack , it will give you the number of health pack necessary per boss if its a number xx.433333333 you'll need another one.

Correction...use the cash hit value not the free hits. You get better attack on cash hits and should consider using that before resorting to gold health packs.

@LisaM, No it isn't. You just got unlucky for a whole event. My accounts got just as many rares and uncommons as the last two events, if not more. It helps having a bigger data set to look at. Legen...dary account only got 1 rare and 1 uncommon, but the other two got a ton, so... I guess I got your rares :)

I am getting more common even past boss 20 normally i get 1 or 2 rare between boss 20-24 but this one was all common very annoyed spend gold and got a common.

I haven't needed to spend gold yet, just beat 36. Should be able to beat two more with cash opens. I would not be happy if I spent gold and got the same results either, but at least they are all indestructibles.
