About Alliance ATK/DEF?

I am at lvl 66 with 330 alliances:
The alliance ATK/DEF is displayed:
ATK : 40145
DEF: 69938

But I am defeated by a player with ATK around of 51.000 ( ussually , not 1 times).
I am wondering about this problem.

let me guess. You are on an Android device. Look around the forum and you will find many references to the fact that Android devices do not state your att/def properly.
More specifically they overstate the bonus amounts, and not just a little bit either. The bigger your bonus the bigger the error so your defense is likely in the 45-50k range, not 70k.

if you want your actual defense you will have to calculate it yourself.

To give you an idea my base defense is 27k and my profile states 45k modified. Well that is a bonus of 67% when my actual bonus is no higher than 20% maximum and less than that in most areas. So my defense is overstated by probably at least 50%.

I have attacked someone once and it said they had only 30k def and I had 40k attack in the battle screen yet it still lost? Why does that mean?

Because Gree changed the rivals list algorithm. You can no longer hide with low allies.
