When did the finishing prices go up?

one is crematorium upgrade to level 10 and the other is casino construction. look at the time left and gold needed to Finish Now

^^ seems like an obvious difference between upgrade versus build.

With all the modifiers to reduce upgrade cost/time, probably just another cash grab Gree was hoping nobody would notice.

Also possibly a result of the time travelling glitch. When shoplifters steal from a store, everything else becomes more expensive for the paying customers because losses have to be recovered. This could just be the virtual version of that real life example.

Perhaps I'm mistaken, but I feel like a long time ago I was either expanding my hood or building a new building, and the status screen that was displayed immediately after I made the (in-game cash) purchase, the status screen had a "Finish now" button with a really small amount of gold. I closed the screen, but when I clicked it again, it had the usual (300+ gold or whatever it was) amount to finish now. Was that a glitch, or did I do something? Is that how some people upgrade certain buildings inhumanly fast?

Maybe they "fixed" that glitch, and that update correlates with the changed prices of gold to upgrade or something.

Edit: or I'm talking out my ass, who knows.

no ur not talking outta ur butt lol .. the below mentioned is just an example cuz i dont remember the exact scenario.

a building that was about to construct in 2+ hours said Finish Now in 2 gold bars .. i thought that was sweet and i clicked finish now and guess what, 10 gold bars gone.

now see this .. its in modern war .. 27 hours left for expansion and its saying pay 27 gold. i'm sure if i clicked finish now, its going to deduct much more gold than just 27 ..
