I'm just curious, does "No Gold Forever" mean you don't spend gold on wars, or that none of your players have any inventory items that cost gold?

No Gold specifically refers to not spending real life money for in-game currency purchases. TJ gold is fair game.

Most members have gold buildings. I have 3 frosty's.

How each member spends their TJ gold is up to them. If a member wanted to spend it during war that would be ok. I don't think any have. With the limited amount of gold earned through TJ it would be a pretty poor return to use it in battle.

I have not checked every member for gold items in inventory. I imagine some will have a couple of crate items bought with tj gold. I have Agressor Blade which was a gold spend reward (I earned that one by purchasing my 3'rd frosty so that really worked out well)

So, in short it is not a total rejection of the gold currency; it is a dedication to be a free player.

I'm a long term camper and in it for the points when it comes to war...I work well with others and always try to help do what's best for the group. I've left my top 100 syndicate "Corleon Family Mafia" due to multiple high ranking members trying to run the show in ways that are upsetting everyone. There was a recent merger and all it did was cause problems within...somebody from a top 10 team has a camper in the group and is trying to warp them into the same thing...pushing for long time active members to be dropped and replaced with gold spenders. I think the game should be fun and enjoyable...not only about the numbers...and I'm seeking a good group of people that I can grow with. Thank you for your consideration :-)

There has been an increase in requests from former gold spenders. A common question is if prior gold spend is a problem. It is not a problem to be a former gold spender who wants to retire from the rat race. There are members on our team who has retired from top teams. No-one from Fight Club has joined us, though that is how high we have to go to find the threshold of where our members come from.

Our match immediately before that was FwD-- both of these teams are really difficult to score on (as opposed to certain other Top 10 teams that have weaker players but larger gold spenders). Was pretty impressive to see DFA put up 400k+ IP on TBC to get into the Top 25 in under 20 minutes. MWWM was sitting at 25th when we started our final push, but unfortunately they weren't the team that we knocked out of the top 25.

Great job getting top25; quite an accomplishment. We got a couple who would have been celebrating with you if your 'victim' was the mwwm syndicate.

We too have noticed that some of the high end teams are not that difficult for us, while others are really difficult.

Top 150 is going to be more competitive, little doubt there. Will be interesting if free syndicates have a place there; we will find out.

I've had the game for 1-2 years now and I've never purchased gold.. I simple have other things to spend my money on. I'm a chick from Miami, I'm 26, just graduated nursing school. My stats are:
Level - 185
Attack - 41k
Defence - 52k
IPH - 270k

I recently beat the game, conquering all maps available which was my goal before syndicate's release. This last month I got interested in the Syndicate aspect of the game. I increased my Att + Def by 10k each. Looking forward to what next month brings.

NGF had a great time this battle. A lot of challenging opponents which only encourage us to get even better. We got matched to many teams much above our ranking and consequently lost most battles on points. However we fiercly battled who we met and we secured top150 again, so the old saying about losing the battle but winning the war certainly holds true.

We have conducted a very rare sweep of our members. It is something we reluctantly do, but it was needed. As such a few spots have openend up.

Please apply if you are a strong and active player. It would be a strong plus if you are able to provide final IP screen shots of last 2-3 wars
