Beat the Boss: Eire Carrick glitch

Each time I defeat Eire Carrick, my screen size ratio goes weird when it reverts back to the previous overhead view of whichever base I happen to be on. It appears to reduce the aspect ratio and then stretch all the buildings. I'll take a screen shot next time. I'm on an iPhone 5 if that helps at all.

I beat level 5 super quick but didn't get my unit for 5th victory. Checked inv reset everything but still nothing. Got the splash screen for it after level 8 but it was blank and I got nothing. Not even the regular prize you get for beating the boss.

Workaround to the problem is to just close the app, restart and it is all fine again until the next boss is triggered.

Boss is not full screen on the new iPhone 5 when you trigger him, but when you 'Finish him', it uses the same aspect ratio of the boss event for your base and any subsequent screens. Seems that the actual Boss screen ratio is incorrect for the iPhone 5 on this occasion.

I also didn't get the unit for the 5th boss and the 10th boss.
The boss also doesn't show in my goals list because I have more than 10 goals listed. I'm lvl51.
Anybody an idea?

Same problem here. No unit for 5 or 10 but finally have a goal for getting to 15.

Same here. Level 141, 10 goals on my goals list, no goal for Eire Carrick. No bonus units for defeating Level 5 or Level 10 Boss.

Well, after I finally defeated good old Wild Basir in the Marketplace to end that Goal quest mission, I was awarded with both the 5 and 10 units and given the proper 15 goal in the Eire Carrick questline.

Hopefully the same happens for others!

Yes, iPhone5 aspect ratio issue. Everything ends up horizontally stretched.

The boss event is not working well for me, the boss pops up like normal, I can attack him fine, but if I leave the battle screen for any reason he disappears completely, and clicking on the goal in the goal list says I need to find an epic boss, even though I should still be in a battle. Anyone else having this problem or got any ideas for a fix?
